PCR postit is a online reminder/post-it tool intended to be installed at your preferred hoster, which allows you to record important (or futile) information accessible since any computer connected to Internet. Halfway between Webnote for the system of reminder, Netvibes in multi-contents management (RSS, Text, Video Youtube, dailymotion, myspace, and labels flickr), PCR postit can also be used out of CMS/Blog engine thanks to its categorys hierarchisation. PCR postit is simple and without ornament (except the AJAX), it has multiple methods enabling you to find quickly your post-it (Categories, alphabetical Indexation, Date, search engine). PCR postit is written in PHP5, does not require database (post-it are stored in XML files) and respects the W3Cs standards . It is based on a double caching system (file and shared memory) which allows to serve huge amount of visitors. Finally its engine is designed to support any type of contents and plugin can be develop on demand.

It is very similar to del.icio.us and in addition, it enables conversations around posts. To use the PostIt extension, you need to download and install the Indus Live SDK (available at http://www.aumeganetworks.com) which provides access to the P2P network and the PostIt application (available at http://www.aumeganetworks.com) which can be installed using the Indus Live toolbar.

PostIt currently features abilities to mark-and-post any web content, bookmark pages, add contacts, share and reply to posts, editing and organisation of posts. Indus Live has been designed to enable implementation and hosting of open source P2P services and developers are encouraged to improve PostIt (sources available from http://sourceforge.net/projects/indus) and add other P2P services. Current plans include adding tags, public posts and search, post to blogs, feeds of tagged posts and import/export of posts.

PostIt Notes is a easy to use little program for any version of Windows, it lets create colorful sticky note on your desktop and send them to others. You can use them for messages, reminders, telephone notes, to-do lists, Web and email addresses, office memos or anything else.
