ODF Add-in for PowerPoint is a useful piece of software designed to enable opening and saving OpenDocument format (ODF) files in Microsoft PowerPoint.
The converter is based on XSL transformations between two XML formats, along with some pre- and post-processing to manage the packaging (zip / unzip), schema incompatibility processings and the integration into Microsoft Word. We chose to use an Open Source development model that will allow developers from all around the globe to participate and contribute to this project.
System requirements:
- Microsoft Office 2007 with .NET Programmability Support activated comprising of Word 2007 / Excel 2007 / PowerPoint 2007 as applicable (depending on the converter(s) you are planning to install)
- .NET Framework 2.0 SP1
Enhancements:
- * Digitally signed addins which can now be used even when the security settings are set to high;
- A new ?Options? menu command which allows to suppress/re-activate the Fidelity Message dialog box;
- The overall performance has considerably be improved;
- Mono compatibility;
- The installation has been simplified by auto-detecting the installed Office version and
- Supporting ODF 1.1 documents and documents created using OpenOffice.org 2.4.

When attending Microsoft events, I can not see the text at bottom of PowerPoint presentation if I sit on back. The screen is high but not high enough for people on back to see the whole screen.
When I work on my own PowerPoint presentation, no matter how careful I design each slide, I found that in some case, it is difficult to split some slides. If I put everything on one slide, it is too small for viewers to read it. If I split them into two slides or more slides, viewers can not see the relation between those slides. I have to build one slide to show the concept and build more slides for each part in detail.
This program is designed to solve those two problems by providing the follow tools:
You can scroll screen up so that your viewers can view the text at bottom.
Enlarge any part of screen. For example if you have slide which has 5 diagrams, you can zoom up any of diagram and explain each diagram in more detail.
As a result, next time when you design your PowerPoint slides, you do not need to care too much about the size of your font or what contents you need to put in one slide. You do not need to split your contents into multiple slides. This will save you time and effort. You can give a better presentation now.<<less

If you tried our counterpart freeware macros MS Word (Word SR) and MS Excel (Excel SR) then you can probably guess that the PowerPoint SR macro works in a similar manner but on PowerPoint files only. PowerPoint Search and Replace macro uses PowerPoints find and replace functions. This macro can do more than one file by specifying a wild card in the dialogs File Mask (with path) field.
Important Notes:
PowerPoint Search and Replace was developed on Office 2000. It may not work with the Office 97 or Office 95 versions of PowerPoint.
The PwrPtSR.ppt is set up to automatically launch the macro when opened but this may not happen on your system. The file has some instructions to launch manually.
PowerPoint Search and Replace requires that you have macro functioning turned on. You may need to enable Excel macros in your Options settings if macros were disabled as an anti-virus measure.
Scan PwrPtSR.ppt with your anti-virus scanner before you open the file for the first time.
