User can add any number of different rules like enumeration, changing case of symbols, adding prefix or suffix, using file date, using MP3 tags etc. The rules are applied consequently in the order, specified in the project.
Before renaming, the list of files can be rearranged manually or automatically by name, date, or type.
The program is very useful when creating music play lists, picture collections etc.

We liked how you can set whether a profile is private or public, add pictures and create unions between people. The program also has an advanced search to browse members by many categories like sex, birth, death or unions. Results will appear in the list view on the left. ohmiGene also lets you import and export GEDCOM genealogy files.
The interface is confusing and stuffed with small icons, making it difficult to get to grips with the program. It did take us a while to understand how to create new members and form unions. We were also disappointed to learn that the program limits you to 500 members for your genealogy.
ohmiGene offers advanced features to manage your genealogy but feels a little bit counter-intuitive.<<less

Strings is a command-line applet that scans the file you pass for UNICODE (or ASCII) strings of a default length of 3 or more UNICODE (or ASCII) characters. Note that it works under Windows 95 as well.
Usage: strings [-s] [-a] [-u] [-n X]
Strings takes wild-card expressions for file names, and additional command line parameters are defined as follows:

AnaMark 2.21 gives a tool which functions as VST-Synthesizer for Windows. Discover new soundscapes and a flexible variety of possibilities, you won't find somewhere else! The 545 factory presets provide a wide basis of sounds for the most different kinds of electronic music: Real sounding instruments (e.g. accordion, strings, organs, electronic guitars), Pads (warm-analogue, vocal or spacy) and Drones, Leads, Basses (acoustics and electronics), Drums and Percussion, Effects, Retro-Sounds, e.g. C64 (SID), Atari (POKEY).
