Here are some key features of "IMDb Preview":

· The movies preview includes: poster, title, rating, number of votes, top 250 rank, cast members, plot.
· The persons preview includes: poster, name, birth year, birth country, latest movies, mini biography.
· The fields are shown only if exist.
· Unwanted fields can be disabled.
· Clicking the poster hides all the information fields.
· The preview works from any site, as long as the link points to a valid IMDb page.
· Previews show & hide times are changeable.
· You can determine how many actors/films will be in the preview.

Preview is a simple image viewer for GNUstep. It is designed to be easy to use and support GNUstep features such as image design, pasteboard/services, printing, and layout.

With POP3 Preview you will not waste your time and bandwidth by downloading spam messages to your computer.

With POP3 Preview you can check your E-Mail on the mail (POP3) server without the need to download the whole message.

Based on the information in the header of the message (like Subject or Sender) you can decide if you want to keep the message or delete it from the server.

POP3 Preview also includes a SPAM filter, that can filter messages based on the subject or sender. Messages that match the criteria will automatically be selected when you check for new e-mail.

All you have to do is simply press Purge and the Junk E-mails are deleted from the server!

Usage:
· Create an e-mail account: select Account->New Account from the menu. Enter the details of your POP3 Server.
· Select Receive Messages from the Menu to download the message headers.
· The new messages will be displayed in the messages window.
· Now you can take one of the following actions:
· Add subject to junk filter, adds the subject (or a part of it) to to Junk E-mail Filter.
· Add sender to blocked list, adds the sender to the blocked senders list
· Add sender to safe list, adds the sender to the safe senders list.

SynthPad Preview is a simple audio sampler for the PalmOS. You can record a single short sample, and then SynthPad will use simple synthesis techniques to let you play the sample back on any key of a one octave piano. SynthPad Preview can only run on Palm OS 5 handhelds (Does not yet work on Sony NX or NZ Clies).

To use SynthPad Preview, tap the "record" button in the top right corner. You will then hear a countdown to prepare you for recording (set countdown volume with "Game Sound" settings in your system Prefs). A dot appears next to the "record" button while recording. SynthPad Preview can currently record only a few seconds of sound.

A progress bar will then appear as SynthPad calculates new waveforms for each piano key. This version of SynthPad uses a simple linear interpolation process without filtering. Future versions may offer more sophisticated methods and may include "native arm code" to allow real time synthesis (no waiting!).

The original waveform will appear in high resolution. Once that waveform has appeared you can play the piano. Only a single channel is currently used, so you can not overlap notes, instead each note will interrupt the one currently playing.

You can also trim any "dead air" (silence) off of the beginning of your sample. Tap the pen where the sound begins in the waveform to set a "trim point". When the trim point is set (youll see a vertical line) a scissors icon will appear next to the "help" button. Tap the scissors and SynthPad will remove everything to the left of the trim point.

This is a free technology preview of products still to come from miniMusic. SynthPad requires a handheld or phone with a microphone. It has been tested on several Palm Tungsten and Treo models, but may not be compatible with some handhelds. This is a free sneak preview of products still in development, and we cannot guarentee it is error free (but we do have some experience with this sort of thing!).

Print Preview is an ActiveX which enables you to add print preview capabilities to your applications.

It not only adds Preview functiunalities, but also can save to PDF, RTF, JPG, Gif, XML...

This software is aimed to help you preview Flash files using standard Windows Explorer. Once SWF Live Preview is installed you can scan directories and subdirectories for flash files, create and preview thumbnails for SWF files and fetch information such as Flash version, number of frames, shapes, find if file is compressed or not, etc. You can even choose yourself which frame to create thumbnail from as well as set size of preview. You can clear cache in order to save some storage space in case you have removed some of the Flash files. Our product scans files with SWF and EXE (Projector EXE) extensions. With SWF Live Preview you can open SWF files in Flash Decompiler and Flash Optimizer (other Flash tools from Eltima) directly from File Properties tab.

force-preview plugin helps reduce comment spam on a Movable Type blog. When enabled, commenters are required to preview their comment before posting. (See README file for complete description and installation directions.)

Here is whats good about this plug-in:
· It is extremely effective against comment spamming bots—the most common method used by comment spammers.
· Unlike most anti-spam methods (such as registration or captcha), forced comment preview doesnt burden your commenters. Your commenters probably wont even notice: theyll just click the "preview" button automatically.
· And who knows, maybe the quality of the comment on your blog will improve now that people will have to preview before posting.

Here is whats bad about this plug-in:
· Installation requires a small change to your Movable Type installation. Its in the form of a patch, which most Unix/Linux administrators know how to handle.
· Once installed, you need to enable it individually for each blog that should be protected. It will require a tweak to your comment preview template. This isnt too bad if your site runs just one blog. This will be a pain in the ass if you run dozens.
· Finally, while this plugin is extremely effective against comment spam, it does nothing to reduce trackback spam.

Installation:

In this part, you will load the Force Preview plugin into the Movable Type installation. When complete, you will be able to activate the plugin for whichever blogs you want.
These instructions assume you have installed Movable Type on a Unix/Linux type server and have access to a shell.

First, unbundle the package tarball into the base of your Movable Type installation. For example:

# cd /path/to/MT-3.2-en_US
# tar -xvz -f force-preview-1.xx.tar.gz

This will create the following files:

plugins/force-preview/README.html - This document.
plugins/force-preview/force-preview.pl - The plugin.
plugins/force-preview/force-preview.patch - Patch to MT installation (see below).
plugins/force-preview/optional-templates.patch - Optional patch to default templates (see below).

Next, apply the included patch, using the Unix patch(1) utility:

# patch -N -p0 < plugins/force-preview/force-preview.patch

The patch will make a small change to the Movable Type comment posting module (lib/MT/App/Comments.pm) to perform Force Preview checking on blogs that have enabled it.

You should now be able to log into the management interface of the blog and see that the Force Preview plugin is installed. But dont activate it yet, though. That part comes next.
