XSign ActiveX XML Signature Component 1.0 is professionally designed for secure personal and business transactions. It enables XML digital signatures using certificates over the Internet and intranet. XSign provides excellent data integrity, message and signer authentication and signer verification for all types of data located within the XML document.

As XML becomes a vital component of the emerging electronic business infrastructure, we need trustable, secure XML messages to form the basis of business transactions. One key to enabling secure transactions is the concept of a digital signature, ensuring the integrity and authenticity of origin for business documents. XML Signature is an evolving standard for digital signatures that both addresses the special issues and requirements that XML presents for signing operations and uses XML syntax for capturing the result, simplifying its integration into XML applications. Our XML-based XSign software component has been developed for secure personal and business transactions. It enables XML digital signatures using certificates over the Internet and intranet. XSign provides excellent data integrity, message and signer authentication and signer verification for all types of data located within the XML document.

The most common application area for the XSign component is web based applications. The digital signature is created by the user in a web browser with an ActiveX component, and the signature is verified on a web server.

XML enables production and exchange of structured data. The usefulness of such structured data in business critical applications depends upon our ability to assess its origin and authenticity. XML digital signatures provide integrity, message authentication, and signer authentication services and are essential to the success of Web Services. Digital signatures are created and verified using cryptography, the branch of applied mathematics concerned with transforming messages into seemingly unintelligible forms and then back again. Digital signatures are created by performing an operation on information such that others can confirm both the identity of the signer, and the fidelity of the information. This capability is important to a growing number of XML protocol, publishing and commerce applications. The XSign component is based on the XML-signature standard of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).

Major Features:

  1. XSign is an ActiveX component and can be used in both web based and desktop applications (XPCOM component for use in Fire Fox will be available in XSign Standard edition) .
  2. Can be used in a Web Browser and on the server,
  3. Compatible with Microsoft.Net, ASP.Net and many other signature verification libraries
  4. XSign is implemented on the Win32 platform and uses Microsoft’s standard API functions for cryptographic functions and XML processing
  5. Stand alone installation. No need for MS XML, CAPICOM and other components
  6. Compatible with Internet Explorer on all Windows operation system including Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista
  7. Implements the XML digital signature standard of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF)
  8. API that allows application developer flexible to control the signing process
  9. Full support of Unicode characters
  10. X.509 certificates can be used to generate the signatures (passwords can be used only in XSign Standard Edition, available soon)
  11. Support for user certificate store to find certificates, meaning that all devices including installed certificates on your computer, smart cards, and USB tokens, can bi used to generate signatures
  12. Utilizes SHA1 digest algorithm, Canonical XML canonicalization and Base64 algorithms
  13. When creating signatures the signed XML data can easily be made visible for the user for inspection when required
  14. Easy to use, yet powerful

StampIt for Word (non Vista ver.) 6.0 is a all-in-one and powerful software for eliminating the need for rubber stamps. It automates, standardizes and simplifies paper and PDF document marking and printing. Users can easily create their own stamps in in graphic outline, solid or watermark format. Can stamp MULTIPLE COPIES of the same document with different stamps on each copy, ALL in ONE PRINT SESSION or just stamp selected pages. Stamps can be scaled, rotated or positioned to print anywhere on a page.

Major Features:

  1. Use different marking on multiple copies of the same document . . .
Print a "Client Copy,", "File Copy," "Recording Copy" and two unmarked originals, all in one print session. And do it with only three mouse clicks while in your Word document.
  2. Select any style or format of marking
Instantly creates any graphic word or phrase up to three lines — in hollow, watermark and solid format— for immediate use (and thereafter) in your document -- in any font, color, size or orientation. No need for self-inking or rubber stamps with StampIt. An easy to use menu is called up while you are in your document.
  3. Stamps PDFs from Word at the time of creation
Simply checking a box (if a PDF driver is installed) on StampIt's Main menu creates your PDF file. And StampIt will mark the PDF — with Word's graphics power —without making you to fiddle with PDF security settings or other settings. StampIt standarizes document marking.
  4. Make printed and PDF documents virtually tamper-proof
StampIt creates a non-contrast sensitive document marking (among others) that prevents a paper copy from becoming an "original." Contrast-adjustments on copiers will not remove the marking without altering the original text.
  5. Individually customizable and user-created stamps
Individually customize how any stamp prints, where it prints, and in what color. Stamps can be left in documents for permanent identification and combined as desired. It's like getting custom rubber stamps for free.
  6. Document marking and printing control at the page-level
All user-selection of “pages to stamp” and “pages to print” for each stamp selected as well as allowing stamps to be left in the document and custom configured for future use.
  7. Prints entire documents while only stamping selected pages
e.g. stamp pages 2, 7 and 14 "approved" in a 20 page document. Can also print and stamp only selected pages.
  8. Pre-made words and phrases each with eight pre-set positions
Provides 58 commonly used phrases in HOLLOW, WATERMARK and SOLID graphic format for instant use in any one of eight (8) preset positions. All can be modified and/or changed by the user to print anywhere on the page in any size. Eliminates the need for rubber or self-inking stamps.
  9. Password protection and control
Allows you to restrict the use of any stamp (by password) or completely block access to the function that creates stamps
  10. Leave stamps in documents for positive identification
Users can leave and save stamp(s) in their Word documents (and make them permanent in PDFs) so others who access the document can know the document's purpose and intended use.
  11. Automated and customizable document signing
Automates custom “signing” of documents with a signature graphic or text as well as custom association with different words or phrases.
  12. Custom marking adjustments with print preview
Allows the preview and custom adjustment or configuration of any stamp, to anywhere on a page, prior to printing or editing.
  13. Customizable user-designated groups
Save user-defined “groups” of stamps that allow the printing and marking of multiple copies of the same document, e.g., 1 FILE COPY (watermark), 2 CLIENT COPY” (hollow), and 1 CLEAN ORIGINAL (no stamp) that can be recalled with two mouse clicks or a few key strokes.
  14. Context sensitive help and tool tips
Provides help at any location in StampIt and function identification by mouse pointer as well.

  11. Automated and customizable document signing
    • Automates custom “signing” of documents with a signature graphic or text as well as custom association with different words or phrases.
  12. Custom marking adjustments with print preview

  13. Customizable user-designated groups
    • Save user-defined “groups” of stamps that allow the printing and marking of multiple copies of the same document, e.g., 1 FILE COPY (watermark), 2 CLIENT COPY” (hollow), and 1 CLEAN ORIGINAL (no stamp) that can be recalled with two mouse clicks or a few key strokes.
  14. Context sensitive help and tool tips
    • Provides help at any location in StampIt and function identification by mouse pointer as well.
