It allows you the following:
- Take screnshots of a selectable area of your PC desktop
- Take screnshots of your complete PC desktop
- Save the screen shot automatically in one of the most used image file formats:
o PNG
o JPG
o BMP
o TIF
- Copy the screenshot to clipboard, so you can paste it in your document (MS Word, OpenOffice, etc.).
- Email the screen shot directly. In this way a new ready-to-send email message, with the image file attached, will be created.
It is Freeware. It means that you can use it for free - no costs for you.
You can recall it pressing the proper hot keys
- Press the Ctrl and PrintScreen keys at the same time, and then select the area of the screen with the mouse

The multi screen dump tool is a stand alone executable more>> The multi screen dump tool is a stand alone executable and does not require installation.
Simply run the MultiScreenDump.exe file and the initial screen capture information message appears.
You can use Printscreen to capture a whole screen or use the Screen button.
Use ALT and PrintScreen to capture the active window or use the Active button.
F2 activates the Mouse Area capture or use the Mouse button.
F1 launches the setup menu or use the setup button.
Press Escape to quit the application or use the Quit button.
The Screen Capture settings Dialogue is used to set the save destination, you can manually type in a destination or browse to an existing folder.
If View save is ticked a quick view of the saved image is displayed at 50% size in the top left of the screen for 2 seconds.
The output format can be selected by clicking the dropdown box, output formats are JPG or BMP.
When Using JPG as the output file type a compression/quality level can be selected using the slider.
When Use on screen capture buttons is ticked and the settings window is closed the onscreen buttons appear. During a screen capture the buttons are minimized and are not captured in the saved image. The buttons can be positioned anywhere on the screen by clicking the center of the top 4 buttons and dragging the buttons to position.
When using the Mouse capture, Right click at the corner of the area to be captured, hold the mouse button down until the message drag appears, while keeping the mouse button pressed drag the mouse pointer to the opposite corner of the required area capture.<<less

I have been using lots of different programs to create screenshots with, Ive even used the PrintScreen button and then pasted the image into Paint or other graphics programs to then save it. But I thought that was kinda tedious. So I came up with the GeoTrail ScreenGrabber. The program isnt 100% finished as of yet so major changes will probably be done to the coding and layout before its final release some time soon. A few extra features will also be added, amongst those planned are audio when a file is captured and saved.
