The Balloon Browser recognizes and highlights geo-coordinates in web pages. Hovering over a recognized location advises another application to show a map of the corresponding area. For now the only program Balloon Browser can interact with is Google Earth.
Balloon Browser is a software that allows you navigate over internet.
Instead of waiting for the one true geo-notation and markup standard, Balloon Browser tries to parse a variety of common coordinate notations. Ambiguous information like a missing hemisphere identifier are reconciled by looking at the context or the probability of a certain location.
Thanks to the GPS system and low-cost devices that can be used by everybody, the number of websites tagging their content with geo-coordinates (using latitude and longitude) is increasing rapidly.
If you know great web sites not mentioned here that can already be used or should be supported in Balloon Browser please let me know.
Suggestions about other programs beside Google Earth that should be supported are also welcome.

The application will calculate a probable date of conception, but also a date of childbirth and estimated sex of a child. The application BabyPlan is intended for forecasting of the dates with low, average or high probability of conception as well as forecasting of the beginnings of menstruations.
The results of the forecast can be used for childbirth planning as well as for contraception. Though there are some similar software, only BabyPlan uses cumulative statistical data to give the most reliable results.
The application BabyPlan is a simply Microsoft Excel workbook, and therefore it can be used at any computer (even PDA) with Microsoft Excel installed (or any other software that can work with files *.xls).

autoModulation was designed to be a MIDI effect plug-in autoModulation was designed to be a MIDI effect plug-in (MFX). MFX plug-ins can be used by Sonar / Cakewalk, Project5, Cubase SX etc... autoModulation works off-line on a MIDI clip.
The autoModulation plug-in was initially conceived to automatically add modulation control change messages (CC #1) to the notes of a solo track, in order to bring some life into it. It has since evolved and can now be used for a wide range of applications. The user can precisely define under which conditions the new MIDI messages will be inserted, what will be their type, etc...
Conditions
The right part of the window describes under which circumstances a note is a good candidate for auto-modulation. You can specify:
- the velocity range the note must be in.
- the key range the note must be in (click on the little keyboard icons to set the range).
- what minimum duration the note must have.
- the probability that a curve will actually be inserted, when all the conditions above are met.
MIDI events
The left part of the window describes what type of MIDI messages will be inserted, and how. You can choose:
- a controller number: several control change messages with this number will be inserted, creating a curve.
- the amplitude range of the curve (its global amplitude is randomly chosen in this range).
- a random amount to be added to the amplitude of the curve.
- a list of possible shapes for the curve (the actual shape associated with a note will be randomly chosen among the checked ones).

Choose from 8 to 32 steps and the sequence length from 1 to 8 bars (measures) and set the probability of triggering the gate (from 0% to 100%) for each step. As the track plays, the gate will loop through the steps and randomly trigger depending on the probability assigned to each step.
The randomness can be seeded for repeatability either over the track length or the sequence length.
