Pushpin Tool v2.4 is an add on program for Microsoft MapPoint version 2002 / 2004. Features include changing the state of your pushpins label (or balloon) on selected datasets or ALL the pushpins on your map. No more right clicking each pushpin to change the state of the balloon!. The only program for MapPoint that enables you to manage your pushpins.

Pushpin Tool now includes an Export function with Lat/Lon. Pushpin Tool can export all information associated with your pushpins to Microsoft Excel and it adds columns for Latitude and Longitude. You can export data on ALL pushpins or only pushpins within a selected shape or Dataset.

The output to Excel is similar to the built in Export to Excel (Each Dataset gets its own Worksheet, Column names are based on Field Names) with the Addition of Lat/Lon. If you do not have Microsoft Excel you can Export to a comma delimited ASCII file.

The Benchmark routine will add 198 pushpins to the map, across the United States and report the time it took to complete the operation. It is also handy for adding some pushpins to the map for testing!

Manage your pushpins with Pushpin Tool. Click the "Get All" or "Find" button to fill the list of pushpins. The find function will search for pushpins by name or words within the name giving you a list of matching results. "Right Clicking" on an item in the list brings up a menu with many options.

PushPin is a Windows desktop tool for Windows 95/98/NT4 that keeps any window on top of all other windows.

PushPin adds a "Always on top" menu item to all window system menus to allow users to conveniently execute the command and keep a particular window always on top.

Once the "Always on top" menu item is selected the window the system menu belongs to will remain always in full view regardless of changes in application window focus.

This is especially useful with help/hint windows. PushPin can be easily removed by right-clicking on the PushPin icon in the system tray and selecting the remove menu item.

With GPSPins you can create custom GPS based pushpins for standalone use or with MS Pocket Streets. As a companion application to Pocket Streets, GPSPins provides access to pushpin latitude and longitude information and the ability to create pushpins for locations ( such as off-road waypoints ) that cannot be pinned through Pocket Streets. As a standalone application GPSPins can create pushpins directly from Bluetooth GPS devices or from importing popular waypoint file formats. With a mobile data plan, pushpins can also be mapped using Yahoo! Maps online mapping service.

Overview

VITO SmartNavigator supports two types of pushpins. Permanent pushpins always appear on screen, others show up only when you load certain tracks. VITO SmartNavigator can show you the direction to a selected pushpin when you need to find a way to the place you visited once.
