Connection Monitor 1.0 is a utility for you to monitor incoming and outgoing network connections. This is ideal for those whose computer is part of a local network or is accessible over an internet connection, as you can keep track of all wanted and unwanted outbound and inbound Socket-Connections on your computer monitor.

TRasMonitor - whenever an internet connection is established through the RAS Dialup, usually the ISP assigns a temporary IP address to the calling PC. Using this unique IP address the PC can communicate with the outside world and can also be used to act as a Server by publishing this IP address to Clients.
TRasMonitor is a remote access service monitor that notifies you when your internet connection is disconnected and more.
In some cases, the ISP assigns a Fixed or Permanent IP address to the calling PC which does not change on each connection to the internet. A fixed IP Address is much desired by Network users, but the service also comes with a fee with certain ISPs. Your PCs IP address can be compared to your Telephone number, people who know it can easily contact you when available.

This BETA version is freeware, and regular updates will be posted every Monday morning. Suggested: Windows NT 4 with RAS installed. Requires: At least Windows 95 with 8 megs of RAM. While this program will run under Windows 95, it will function as a machine name database under Win 95 with limited networking and no dial-out (yet). The program files only are about 200k. The full package is about 4mb. If you dont have all of the files from the full package, Ras N Map willnot operate properly. You only need to get the full package once. After you have that, you can get the smaller program file updates.
