This is the latest and greatest release of the famous ACE Mega CoDecS Pack. In this codec collection you can find plenty of useful CoDecS (CoderS/DeCoderS), Media Players, Media Player Filters and other Utilities.Also I added Authoring ToolS for video watchning, audio and video processing. In Add-On Pack you can found Authoring ToolS for content creation.
ACE Mega CoDecS Pack uses a brand new filter manager technology! Please refer with DashBoard section!
Because of ACE Mega CoDec Pack DashBoard the installation process has been changed! Please read the INSTALLATION Section carefully!
The ACE Mega CoDecS Pack installer from version 6.00 only unpacking the files, then the DashBoard registers and configures them. So never remove files, except when you know what do you do! DashBoard registers and configures CoDecs and FilterS and from this unified User Interface you can do every settings you want.
INSTALLATION
Because of ACE Mega CoDec Pack DashBoard the installation process has been changed! Please read the INSTALLATION section carefully!
Before the installation, you should exit all video, mediaplayer and audio application.
Please Uninstall the previous version of ACE Mega CoDecS Pack (START menu>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs)!
Then start the insatllation process with ACEMCP.EXE (Version number like 5.00 number.).
Follow the on-screen steps.
On Select Components page you should not change items, only the type of installation! The ACE Mega CoDecS Pack installer from version 6.00 only unpacking the files, then the DashBoard registers and configures them. So never remove elements, except when you know what do you do! DashBoard registers and configures CoDecs and FilterS and from this unified User Interface you can do every settings you want.
After the unpacking stage, the installation system may display some configuration windows for particular filters.
If you do not what that options good for, please click on .
WARNING:
If you got the next message during installation or uninstallation:
"Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000." then you must delete the SystemS3ivx folder.
This error caused by 3ivx Codec is some rare cases. Currently we are working on it, but if you can help, do not hesitate write to me.
Temporary sollution is that the installer does not install 3ivx Codec. If you do not have this kind of problem you may install this codec.
