Quick Search Taskbar Toolbar Deskbar 3.1

Quick Search Taskbar Toolbar Deskbar 3.1

A tiny textbox that Dave Bau designed for search hounds with weary mouse-fingers more>>
A tiny textbox that Dave Bau designed for search hounds with weary mouse-fingers Quick Search Deskbar is a tiny textbox that Dave Bau designed for search hounds with weary mouse-fingers. Unlike the Google Toolbar, this little deskbar lets you launch searches without starting a web browser first, directly from your Windows Explorer Taskbar.
WareSeeker.com
You type your search and hit Enter for a regular Google search.
If youre feeling lucky, tack an exclamation point on to the end of your search - "pow! " - and go directly to the top ranked hit. It is Powered By Google, and Yes it Really Works.
Now you can do searches no matter what you are doing - email, word processing, programming, whatever.
Theres more. Youre not a captive to Google. Do Yahoo searches with a "yh question", get Merriam-Webster definitions with a "colon:", get Bloomberg stock quotes like this "msft intc csco$", and find Switchboard phone numbers by saying "Lois Lane#". You can search real "news." search "newsgroups," check "weather*", or "comparison shop$$". Theres a built in calculator when you need to know "pow(1.0625, 30) " is 6.1640785. And so on.
Too much to remember? Click the button on the search bar or press F1 and a menu shows you all your choices. Not enough space on your deskbar? It includes a clock so that you can free up some space by turning off the system deskbar clock.
Enhancements:
- Lots of new searches.
- Many fixed bugs.

TaskbarHide 1.2b

TaskbarHide 1.2b

TaskbarHide is a simple, small application that will hide/show your taskbar more>>
You know when you set autohide in the taskbar, windows taskbar will "hide" itself and when you move your mouse to where the taskbar is hiding it will reappear.
"Hide" is not exactly all true, you will still see a single line of the taskbar when its "hiding". This is where this program come in, it will totally hide the taskbar instead of leaving the single line.
TaskbarHide is a simple, small application that will hide/show your taskbar.
Why all the fuzz about that single line?
Well it annoys me that my wallpaper(s) look silly with that ugly single line at the bottom (or where ever the taskbar is located). It looks way better when the taskbar is totally hidden. And considering the time I spend looking at my desktop I thought why not make a little program to fix it. (As I know no other way of removing it, mail me if you do).
For maximum performance you should set the taskbar properties "Always on top" and "Hide automaticly" (This is done by pressing right mousebutton at you taskbar and choosing properties).
If you like the program you can insert a shortcut to it in the start folder in your startbutton (so the program will launch everytime you start up windows). Or put it in your registry "run" section (tech heads).
Main features:
- TaskbarHide will put itself in the systemtray (where the clock is located)
- its icon is a big "T" you can enable/disable TaskbarHide by leftclicking
- the "T", you can also rightclick the "T" for a popup menu where you can
- close the program.
- If you dont want to have the "T" icon displayed in your systemtray, you
- should edit the file options.txt and set "hidetrayicon=yes"
