This application security test tool gives developers an environment for testing non-HTTP Client/Server applications, similar to that provided by interactive HTTP proxies. When started, ITR operates as a simple TCP tunnel, listening on a specific port, and forwarding all the traffic to the remote host and port. By configuring the client to treat the ITR as its server, all traffic between a client and a server can be tunneled and logged. The true power of ITR, however, lies in its ability to intercept and edit the traffic passing through it. When invoking intercept mode, the ITR stops every message sent through it (client to server and/or server to client). The traffic can then be edited freely using a built-in HEX Editor, providing a comfortable environment for testing Client/Server applications. To provide support and compatibility for various systems, the ITR can operate both its logs and HEX editor using different types of character encoding, such as ASCII or EBCDIC.

The "out-of-box" capabilities of 802.11 Ad-Hoc networking allows data to be sent and received only within the stations immediate range. It does not, however, relay packets further on.
The software developed here fills exactly this gap, providing an intermediate network layer between the WiFi network adapter and the upper protocols, allowing the protocols to communicate with any station in the network, not only with the immediate neighbors.
This project aims at creating a Mesh WiFi network layer for the end-user computers, thus making the network infrastructure be implicitly maintained by the users themselves.
Unlike other solutions that allow mesh topology only between access points, this software brings it to client nodes themselves.
Users will not need any access points to build their network because Daihinia WiFi Relay is based on WiFis Ad-Hoc mode of operation.
Enhancements:
- INF files updated to be Vista compatible
- Control app: a "please wait" box instead of disabling the main form when pressing buttons
- Max ethernet packet size increased to 2048
- Manual: how to set up the ad hoc network on Vista

The source of its efficiency is the Internat Relay Chat network, also known as IRC. The original purpose of this network, which connects servers all
around the world, is chatting. But what is the difference between a message sent over IRC and a request to look for a file? You are right, nothing.
So this tool tries to connect to the IRC network and sends its search request over a special channel there. Because I do not want to flood these servers too much, the search results are sent over a direct connection to the asker (the results are much more than the request). The files (which contain even more data than the search results), are also sent directly, of course.
The IRCster application was designed to be a simple sharing software.
