TimeStamp is a simple time reporting utility what helps to to keep track of the working time.This is a simple time reporting utility that I wrote to keep track of time when we permanently retired our old LM Ericsson Timestamp machines at ABB.
It comes fully equipped with the actual sampled sound of the old Timestamp machine, but also with an workaholic setting that can remind you to go home when the working day is over (yes - some people need this kind of function).
It can export the time data to either a comma separated text file or MS Excel. The application is totaly free of charge so feel free to try it out.
Enhancements:
- Updated GUI (made it less ugly)
- Reorganized the buttons and removed some obsolete stuff
- Updated application help and corrected some spelling mistakes
- Changed the behaviour of the Export dialog
- Fixed bug when removing last reported time on a day not being saved correctly in some cases
- Added possibility to halt TimeStamp exectution in order to give Windows time to synchronize files. (Special feature)
- Redesigned application to optimize disk usage.
- Added main application menu, for easy access without mouse
- Fixed bug with automatical punch-in and out not working
- Fixed so that the punch-in sound should only sound if the new entry was successful.
- Added notification when the application launches for the first time.
- Adapted to Windows Vista settings for default data storage and changed filename to something meaningful
- Improved import function, to not require restart before the imported data is displayed.
