Delayed Startup & Program Manager is a useful program that allows you to delay, or stop programs from running at a users login to Windows. Some of these programs arent needed, or just arent ever used by you. So you can speed up startup a bit by stopping them.
You can also run the stopped programs from the programs icon in the system tray. And, in std+ and pro editions, create your own program groups with programs to run from there also (in batches).
By delaying their startup, you can, sometimes, actually be able to use the computer sooner after a login. Please know however, that some programs MUST be loaded at startup and cant be delayed - likewise other items on the computer might not startup properly if they were.
As a general rule, if you can disable the program from running without any real effort (i.e. the program has a "dont load at startup" option) it can normally be safely delayed.
