Brothersoft Editor: A application for turning off network daemon and then back on. Good for when you are at a remote site and not at console of SGI you want to stop and start network services on. This program will make sure that even though you just cut your connection, your network services will be back on. To install: use inst-packaged installer on the remote SGI you wish to turn off & on its network services. To run (if /usr/local is in your path): type sasnet at prompt. (or use full path: /usr/local/bin/sasnet). Requires super-user access. |
