Section 1.0 is a program to compute cross sectional properties. The results obtained from Section can be used in a structural analysis. Section allows the user to create custom cross sections graphically using rectangular elements. Area, location of centroid, and moments of inertia (including principal moments of inertia) are automatically calculated. Original, centroidal,and principal axes can be toggled on and off. A grid is also available to aid in construction of the cross section.

SpyClones is a utility for detecting duplicate sections of program source code (clones). SpyClones is a small and simple tool designed for detecting duplicate sections of program source code (clones). If a section of code repeats in 2 or more places in a program, or across a library of programs, it is possibly a candidate for conversion into a separate function or subroutine.
This utility detects all such duplicate sections, and lists them in a pick list at the bottom of the window (you can nominate a minimum line count; only sections longer than this threshold value will be considered).
The complete body of source code itself can be viewed in the top section of the window, and there are options to split the window vertically or horizontally so 2 copies of the source code can be viewed simultaneously.
No attempt is made to actually change programs so as to incorporate duplicate code into a subroutine.
There are all kinds of reasons, in any given case, why this might not be a good idea.
All you?ll get out of this program is information about the locations of duplicate code, and the opportunity to view two duplicate sections simultaneously.
