BTStopper is a simple little utility that automatically stops BITTORNADO and BITCOMET torrents once theyre finished.
This is useful if youre making use of a capped internet service (such as Telkom ADSL 3GB) as it will stop the torrents from seeding.
You can leave your torrents downloading overnight without fear of using up more bandwidth than you planned to.

KeePass Password Safe Portable 1.16 is a powerful tool that allows you to manage your passwords in a secure way.

Today you need to remember many passwords. You need a password for the Windows network logon, your e-mail account, your homepage's FTP password, online passwords (like website member account), etc. etc. etc. The list is endless. Also, you should use different passwords for each account. Because if you use only one password everywhere and someone gets this password you have a problem... A serious problem. The thief would have access to your e-mail account, homepage, etc. Unimaginable.
You can put all your passwords in one database, which is locked with one master key or a key file. So you only have to remember one single master password or select the key file to unlock the whole database. The databases are encrypted using the best and most secure encryption algorithms currently known (AES and Twofish).

Major Features:

1. Strong Security
   • KeePass supports the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES, Rijndael) and the Twofish algorithms to encrypt its password databases.
   • Both of these ciphers are regarded as very secure by the cryptography community. Banks are using these algorithms for example, too.
   • Even if you would use all computers in the world to attack one database, decrypting it would take longer than the age of the universe.
   • Even quantum computers won't help that much. The algorithms are symmetric so its complexity would be reduced a bit, anyway, the sun will go nova before you have decrypted the database.
   • The complete database is encrypted, not only the password fields. So your usernames, notes, etc. are protected, too.
   • SHA-256 is used as password hash. SHA-256 is a 256-bit cryptographically secure one-way hash function. Your master password is hashed using this algorithm and its output is used as key for the encryption algorithms.
   • In contrast to many other hashing algorithms, no attacks are known yet against SHA-256.
   • Protection against dictionary and guessing attacks: by transforming the final master key very often, dictionary and guessing attacks can be made harder.
   • In-Memory Passwords Protection: Your passwords are encrypted while KeePass is running, so even when the operating system caches the KeePass process to disk, this wouldn't reveal your passwords anyway.
   • [2.x] Protected In-Memory Streams: When loading the inner XML format, passwords are encrypted using a session key.
   • Security-Enhanced Password Edit Controls: KeePass is the first password manager that features security-enhanced password edit controls. None of the available password edit control spies work against these controls. The passwords entered in those controls aren't even visible in the process memory of KeePass.

2. Key Multiple User Keys
   • One master password decrypts the complete database.
   • Alternatively you can use key files. Key files provide better security than master passwords in most cases. You only have to carry the key file with you, for example on a floppy disk, USB stick, or you can burn it onto a CD. Of course, you shouldn't lose this disk then.
   • For even more security you can combine the above two methods: the database then requires the key file and the password in order to be unlocked. Even if you lose your key file, the database would remain secure.

3. Features Portable and No Installation Required, Accessibility
   • KeePass is portable: it can be carried on an USB stick and runs on Windows systems without being installed.
   • Installer packages are available, too, for the ones who like to have shortcuts in their Windows start menu and on the desktop.
   • KeePass doesn't store anything on your system. The program doesn't create any new registry keys and it doesn't create any initialization files (INI) in your Windows directory. Deleting the KeePass directory (in case you downloaded the binary ZIP package) or using the uninstaller (in case you downloaded the installer package) leaves no trace of KeePass on your system.

4. Export Export To TXT, HTML, XML and CSV Files
   • The password list can be exported to various formats like TXT, HTML, XML and CSV.
   • The XML output can be easily used in other applications.
   • The HTML output uses cascading style sheets (CSS) to format the table, so you can easily change the layout.
   • The CSV output is fully compatible with most other password safes like the commercial closed-source Password Keeper and the closed-source Password Agent, also the CSVs can be imported by spreadsheet applications like Microsofts Excel or OpenOffice's Calc.
   • Many other file formats are supported through KeePass plugins.
5. Import Import From Many File Formats
   
   • KeePass uses the common CSV export format of various passwords safes like Password Keeper and Password Agent. Exports from these programs can be easily imported to your KeePass databases.
   • KeePass can parse and import TXT outputs of CodeWalletPro, a commercial closed-source password safe.

   • Added option to use Windows' CNG/BCrypt API for key transformations (about 50% faster than the KeePass built-in key transformation code; by increasing the amount of rounds by 50%, you'll get the same waiting time as in 1.15, but the protection against dictionary and guessing attacks is raised by a factor of 1.5; option enabled by default; only Windows Vista and higher).

BitDrom 1.1 is such a simple yet beneficial Java based BitTorrent client with a plethora of functions and options built-in to make your downloading through BitTorrent smooth and unfailing. Additionally, BitDrom provides plug-in capabilities meant to expand the download experience according the user's needs.

BitDrom will be to the liking of advanced users due to its plug-in system and huge range of customizable settings but novice users will have no problem navigating through the basic functions of the program and have their tasks easily carried-out thanks to a well thought out interface. Two windows are displayed below the main toolbar - while the top window deals with tracking the files you are downloading, the other one shows content you are seeding.

By right-clicking on any file and selecting Show Details you will get plenty of information and graphical views regarding the download process (for example, you can see the Swarm tab - showing you the group of peers linked to your files). The interface presents you with the basic tab - 'My Torrents', your source for elementary data like file-rating, file- status, the title of the file downloading.

Apart from these, the app includes another very important tab that you can opt to set (dubbed the 'Statistics' tab). This one gives you access to activities, transfers, cache, and the distributed database. The functionality of the program covers multiple torrent downloads, queuing/priority systems both on torrents and files, start/stop seeding options and everything you need to know about the status of your torrents.

The program also includes an embedded tracker you can easily set up and operate. When it comes to customization, BitDrom allows much liberty - seeding rules, the ability to configure your disk cache, the ability to set upload and download speeds on individual files and for the entire player as well.

G3 Torrent is a feature rich and graphicaly empowered bittorrent client. It combines a very clean interface with loads of features.
Main features:
- Queuing and downloading of multiple torrents. (Starting, stopping, pausing, queue up, queue down etc)
- Real-time list of peer addresses and their statistics. Reverse DNS toggle-able.
- Advanced Progress bar graphically illustrates which pieces of the file have been downloaded.
- A graph to display upload and download rates over time. Each torrent being downloaded has its own graph record.
- Optional Web Interface for remote adminstration.
- Friends Priority System. Friends IP address can be set to get upload preference if they are downloading the same file.
- Temporary upload priority can be given to peers by right clicking them in the list.
- Peers can be banned by right clicking them in the list.
- With torrents that contain multiple files:
- The user can select the order they will download in.
- This is usefull in cases where you only really want 1 file in the torrent.
- Or need certain files to arrive before others.
- The client will not reject peers who want to upload but do not have pieces from the file that has the immediate download priority.
- Or they can be downloaded in a random order. (Rarest pieces first algorithm not withstanding)
- In most cases this is the best strategy. As it is benefits the overall health of the torrent by keeping a wide range of pieces available, and reduces reliance on seeders.
- "Fast Resume" capability.
- When restarting or resuming, the client will automatically reconnect to all of those peers you were connected when you either exited the client or paused a torrent.
- Detailed message view for statistics and error reporting.
- System tray icon graphically displays upload download statistics.
- Peer list view can identify and display what client the peer is using. (Azureus, Shadow, and other clients that identify themselves uniquely)
