!SEND is a special utility designed to create a connection between a folder on your computer and an email address on the Web.
The connection works in a way that any number of files/folders added to that folder will be instantly compressed in zip format and emailed to the addresses you configure for that folder.

HOW IT WORKS? MacOS X has a special feature called FOLDER ACTION. According to Apple: "A Folder Action is a unique Mac OS X feature that allows scripts to be attached to folders and automatically executed whenever any or all of the following events occur: -the attached folder is opened -the window of the attached folder is closed -the window of the attached folder is moved or resized -items are placed into the attached folder -items are removed from the attached folder This powerful utility makes it easy to create "hot folders" and "drop boxes" that respond to external actions to trigger a workflow or procedure.
The Folder Actions architecture in Mac OS Xhas many new abilities, including: responding to items added to closed folders, quick-access controls via the Finders contextual menu, and a new Folder Actions administration utility."
Based on this cool feature of MacOS X, we have built !SEND! Imagine that you are working on a project with 20 other guys. During this project you have to send them, constantly, files thru email. Than, you create anywhere on your system a folder called JOBS and define that this folder must be linked to the email addresses of all the guys on the project with you. During the configuration, you specify a custom email title and body message.
Now, any number of files you drop on folder JOBS are instantly compressed in ZIP format and sent to all the emais you defined!!!!

Net Send Lite is a small utility that uses the existing Microsoft Messaging Service to send network messages.

With Net Send Lite you can send messages to a specific username, computer name, ip address or the entire domain/workgroup on your network.

Simply click on Add/Edit Users to create a usernames.txt file, then select the name from the list and click send. Its as simple as that!

Net Send Lite includes many options, such as the option to include a footer on every message, canned messages, goto URL within message, copy message contents, save the last user sent to, clear the message after sending, set the ENTER key to send the message by default and more.

One of the downfalls of using Microsofts "net send" is that when a user receives a message it says it was FROM the computername. As you know, the computername is not always informative to users.

Net Send Lite allows you to resolves the senders login username, use the computername or specify any name you want as the FROM in the message.

There is NO client installation required for users to receive messages. Its already built into the operating system, however users must be running Windows NT, 2000, 2003 or XP and have the Messaging Service started.
