SIPC is an ICC colour profiler for digital scanners. ICC colour profiles are currently the best way of ensuring that you are preserving original colours in the digital image. If you want to know more about colour profiles have a look at ICC website. SIPC uses open source ICC compatible colour management system - Argyll.
This is a freeware application to create colour ICC profiles for scanners using popular IT 8.7 (ISO 12641) targets. Kodak, Agfa and others manufacture IT8 targets.
Inexpensive IT8 targets for reflective and transparency work can be purchased from the web.. Every target comes with its own reference text file, used by software to calculate the profile.
SIPC is work in progress and NOT extensively tested. Hopefully, it will change soon but at the moment I advise you to test it thoroughly yourself before using it for any critical work.

Tags can be added to images. Then an entry is created in the db with all the information about the image.
- Search in database
Searching in the database can dependent on resolution (==, etc width and height separately).
But also on tags, this lets you look for images with certain tags and also filter on other tags. (as in: contains A but not B).
- Single or multiframe GUI
Program can switch between single or multi frame gui. With multi frame each section has its own frame (main,thumb,image). Multi can be handy
for dualscreen setups.
-Export database
The database can be exported to CSV format.
- Import database
Take the database (and images) of someone else and let the program update your database with the info.
It will check a chosen directory for images matching data in the imported database and then add the data
to your database if a match is found. If the image was in your DB already the tags will be appended.
- Find duplicate images
Let the program look for duplicate images in directory and its subdirectory. Only duplicates that are the same size and CRC32 are found.
Second search method is based on colors and it can find similar images. For example images with a small alteration or rotated.<<less

Enhancements:
