Server Pinger is a small utility designed to ping a list of servers on a specified port at a user-defined interval.

Keep It Alive is a free application that can detect whether you are connected to the Internet or not.
Main features:

- Once you are connected it will automatically start its "keeping alive" actions - to get a web page from a web site every few minutes, and stop actions when you disconnect.
- The program only appears as a small icon in the Windows system tray and does its keeping alive job in the background or waits there for your Internet connection.
- Point your mouse to the tray icon, you will see your connection status.
- Right click your mouse on the icon, a popup menu will show.
- Double click the icon, the main window will show, which allows you to see log results, change settings...

The problem with the KeepAlive.aspx is that if anything goes wrong, your browser wont keep reloading it. So your ASP.NET application gets eaten by the garbage collector and needs to reload later.
However, with the Renegade DNN Keep Alive, if there are any errors, it will simply reload it every minute for you until it is alive.
Just type in the URL to your DotNetNuke portal KeepAlive.aspx file, and press enter. Minimize it to the system tray, and forget about it.
Its that easy.
