Cewolf 1.0
A tag library for charts of all kinds that enables every JSP to easily embedd chart images. more>>
A tag library for charts of all kinds that enables every JSP to easily embedd chart images. You can use Cewofl inside a JSP/Servlet based web application to embed complex graphical charts of all kinds (e.g. bar chart, line, pie, plots, etc.) into a web page.
Therefore Cewolf provides a full featured tag library to define all properties of the chart (colors, strokes, legend, etc.).
Thus the JSP which embedds the chart is not polluted with any java code. Everything is described with XML conform tags.
Cewolf is based on JFreeChart and uses its rendering engine to render the final chart image into the clients response stream. No files are created on server side.
Everything is based on lightweight session objects and dynamic data analysis. Cewolf consists of one servlet which handles the chart rendering and a taglibrary which translates the chart definition included in the JSP into an HTML img tag which consults the rendering servlet for retrieval of the appropriate chart.
Main features:
- No charges
- No restrictions
- All sources documented and available
- 48 hour support on SourceForge Forums
- Short development and upgrade circles
- No usage of native libraries
- Should run in every J2EE compliant server or servlet container
- Extensive usage of available open source projects
- Full featured Chart Tag Library Huge number of different Charts
- No java coding inside the JSP needed
- XML description of a chart
- Design time validation of chart tags
- Extensive tag documentation

Zilverline 1.0-rc2
Zilverline is a Search Engine. PDF, Word, txt, java, CHM and HTML is supported, as well as zip, rar and other archive files. more>>
Zilverline is what you could call a Reverse Search Engine.
It indexes documents from your local disks (and UNC path style network disks), and allows you to search through them locally or if youre away from your machine, through a webserver on your machine.
Zilverline supports collections. A collection is a set of files and directories in a directory. PDF, Word, txt, java, CHM and HTML is supported, as well as zip, rar and other archive files. A collection can be indexed, and searched. The results of the search can be retrieved from local disk or remotely, if you run a webserver on your machine. Files inside zip, rar and chm files are extracted, indexed and can be cached. The cache can be mapped to sit behind your webserver as well.
You can store indexes and caches wherever you like, you could for instance store them on a DVD, as long as zilverline (and your webserver) can access them.
If you supply a url with your collection, the search results will map to the url instead of the source. This allows you to retrieve your result hits from your webserver, instead of disk.
Zilverline is internationalized (English and Dutch), and has support for skins (now three).
Zilverline is built in Java on top of Lucene and Spring. You need a Servlet Engine, such as Tomcat to run it. Im using version 4.1.30.
Tested with Tomcat 4.1.x, Resin 3.0.7 and BEA Weblogic Server 8.1 using JDK 1.4 on Windows XP and Linux. On Linux you can get chm support from here

LogSurveil 1.0.1.0
You can tail multiple different log configurations at once by opening up multiple tabs or browser windows. more>>
You can tail multiple different log configurations at once by opening up multiple tabs or browser windows. LogSurveil is a simple, web-based log-tailing application. It gives you the benefit of being able to tail selected logfiles from anywhere that has web browser access to the server LogSurveil is installed on; you dont need to install any special client software.
LogSurveil allows you to add as many log configurations as you wish and enqueue them in real time. You can even tail multiple different log configurations at once by opening up multiple tabs or browser windows of the LogSurveil website, and multiple people can be using the application from different computers at the same time, viewing the same or different log configurations.
Log configurations can be entered using local file system paths on the web server where LogSurveil is installed, or you can use UNC paths to enable you to tail logfiles not on the local web server. The only requirement is that the user that the web server runs as has read access to any logfile you enter in a log configuration.
System requirements:
- Microsoft IIS 5 or greater
- Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework or greater
- Any modern web browser which supports CSS and JavaScript

XMLtoANY 1.0
uses XSLT to provide content from XML source and XSL stylesheet more>> XMLtoANY is a free servlet that uses XSLT to provide content from XML source and XSL stylesheet. Depending on incoming device request, XMLtoANY converts XML source into content (HTML, WML, XML, ...) viewable for the device. XML source could be local or remote (i.e : from a content-provider).
Setup xmlconfig parameter with the absolute path to xmltoany.xml file.
To do so, edit WEB-INF/web.xml and modify tag.
Note : If youre not familiar with J2EE then simply setup xmlconfig as an init parameter in your servlet engine.
Setup conf/xmltoany.xml by filling in and tags.
tag is the path to the XML source. It could be local
(e.g. : /aHardDiskPath/data/mysource.xml) or remote
(e.g : http://www.acontentprovider.com/channel/source.xml)
You can also setup the CACHE attribute to enable caching features. It is useful for remote source. Cache value is a time period in seconds. -1 means no cache.
tags define relations between device, content-type and xsl. For each target you have to setup the following nodes :
tag is the string that must match to the HTTP ACCEPT header from the devices request.
tag is the associated HTTP response content-type.
tag is the XSL stylesheet that converts XML to content viewable by the device matching to the current target.
If you have caching feature enabled you have to setup the CACHEFILE attribute with the absolute path to cache file.<<less

MP3 Slicer 1.0.1.0
Split your MP3s by time, size or pieces, no mather how large the files may be. more>>
Split your MP3s by time, size or pieces, no mather how large the files may be. MP3 Slicer is a simple application that lets you slice/split mp3 files in multiple smaller pieces.
The size or length of the MP3 does not matter. This software can handle all MP3s.
There are three slicing methods:
- Slice on size:
Mp3 will be splitted in pieces of a size given by the user. A setting of 2000 KB with a file of 7500 KB will result in three pieces of 2000 KB and one of 1500 KB.
- Slice on time:
The mp3 wil be splitted on the time interval which is given by the user. A setting of 60 seconds on a file with an total lenth of 283 seconds will result in four pieces of 60 seconds and one piece of 43 seconds.
Warning: This method will only work on MP3s with a constant bitrate (cbr).
- Slice on pieces:
This wil split the mp3 in files with equal filesize. The amount of pieces is controled by the user. A setting of 5 on a file with a size of 7500 KB will result in 5 pieces of 1500 KB.
System requirements:
- .NET Framework 2.0

Quartz 1.6
a full-featured, open source job scheduling system more>> Quartz can run embedded within another free standing application
Quartz can be instantiated within an application server (or servlet container), and participate in XA transactions
Quartz can run as a stand-alone program (within its own Java Virtual Machine), to be used via RMI
Quartz can be instantiated as a cluster of stand-alone programs (with load-balance and fail-over capabilities)
Jobs are scheduled to run when a given Trigger occurs. Triggers can be created with nearly any combination of the following directives:
at a certain time of day (to the millisecond)
on certain days of the week
on certain days of the month
on certain days of the year
not on certain days listed within a registered Calendar (such as business holidays)
repeated a specific number of times
repeated until a specific time/date
repeated indefinitely
repeated with a delay interval
Jobs can be any Java class that implements the simple Job interface, leaving infinite possibilities for the work your Jobs can perform.
Job class instances can be instantiated by Quartz, or by your applications framework.
When a Trigger occurs, the scheduler notifies zero or more Java objects implementing the JobListener and TriggerListener interfaces (listeners can be simple Java objects, or EJBs, or JMS publishers, etc.). These listeners are also notified after the Job has executed.
As Jobs are completed, they return a JobCompletionCode which informs the scheduler of success or failure. The JobCompletionCode can also instruct the scheduler of any actions it should take based on the success/fail code - such as immediate re-execution of the Job.
The design of Quartz includes a JobStore interface that can be implemented to provide various mechanisms for the storage of jobs.
With the use of the included JDBCJobStore, all Jobs and Triggers configured as "non-volatile" are stored in a relational database via JDBC.<<less
