There are already many great color quantization techniques in existence, this project is mostly just a good gateway for me to make my foray upon windows .NET programming with C#.
But also I was once told that there are not that many free color quantization tools available out there that could handle images with multiple level of transparencies. If that is indeed true, then maybe this project could actually be of help to someone out there after all.<<less

If youre having problems shrinking your DVD with DVD Shrink because its too big to begin with, this tool might help you. It will turn your motion menus into still menus (where the buttons are overlaid over a still image), with or without audio.
In many cases, the space savings is tremendous. For some of the Star Wars movies (R1 versions), the main menus take nearly 800MB, and can easily be shrunk to about 40MB (keeping the audio).

Most DVD titles are designed to prevent you from making copies.

DVD Shrink provides two ways of shrinking your DVD disk. These are re-authoring and re-encoding. You can use one, or the other, or for maximum "shrinkage", both combined.
