Solar System 3D Simulator 3
Create a solar system model on your PC. more>>
Solar System 3D Simulator 3 is designed to generate a realistic solar system model and planets in 3 Dimension on the PC using advanced physics formulas. It can display the planets and their orbits, the sun and the moon. The nine planets including planet earth and their detailed physical and chemical information and image pictures is also displayed including solar power, solar energy and solar eclipse details.
The graphical output is in high-resolution 3D full color format and the orbit view can be adjusted and the orbits tilted and rotated to any angle. The speed of the solar system can also be varied. The Solar System model is useful for learning about the physics of the universe, astronomy, science projects and science experiments interactively for both adults and kids. Students of Elementary, Middle and High School can use it for science fair projects ideas, physics help, science news and creating science articles.

Dark Solar System 2006 1.0
Dark Solar System - View a dark energy inside Solar system on your dektop with this screensaver more>>
In cosmology, dark energy is a hypothetical form of energy which permeates all of space and has strong negative pressure. According to the theory of relativity, the effect of such a negative pressure is qualitatively similar to a force acting in opposition to gravity at large scales. Invoking such an effect is currently the most popular method for explaining recent observations that the universe appears to be expanding at an accelerating rate, as well as accounting for a significant portion of the missing mass in the universe.
Two proposed forms for dark energy are the cosmological constant, a constant energy density filling space homogeneously, and quintessence, a dynamic field whose energy density can vary in time and space.
Distinguishing between the alternatives requires high-precision measurements of the expansion of the universe to understand how the speed of the expansion changes over time.
The rate of expansion is parameterized by the cosmological equation of state. Measuring the equation of state of dark energy is one of the biggest efforts in observational cosmology today.
Adding a cosmological constant to the standard theory of cosmology (i.e. the FLRW metric) has led to a model for cosmology known as the Lambda-CDM model. This model agrees closely with established cosmological observations.
As NASA reports indicate, 70 percent or more of the universe consists of dark energy, about which we know next to nothing.
At the beginning of March, 2006 the satellite of China National Space Administration, DARKSTAR started operations, observing in neutrino the solar corona.
It results a sensational information that our system also contains dark energy. This substance is located within the solar surface.
We have placed above cosmological information into our screensaver and you

MPL3D Solar System 1.0
MPL3D Solar System will take a random trip around 10,000 stars of our galaxy, so it will be different each time you run it. more>>
Trips will orbit stars at a 5 light years of distance from them, increasing then to 100 light years away from them. As the demo runs, it will take you to further stars, including famous stars, stars with planets, multiple systems and variable stars with real data. Each frame in the simulation equals to one day of time.
Although camera is automatic, you still can control it with mouse movement, but only when orbiting a star (that is when not "travelling" to a star).
Other controls are:
- "L" - Changes language between english and spanish.
- "M" - Turns music on/off.
- "F" - Shows maximum frames per second at screen top-left.
- "Esc" - Press escape to quit.
Star names and data appear and disappear at random. It needs DirectX 9.0c installed, and it is better run with 1024x768 resolution. Turn out the lights and enjoy!
"MPL3D Solar System - Starfield Tech Demo" is a executable preview of "MPL3D Solar System" itself. Please check http://www.mpl3d.com for details.

Solar System Wallpaper 1
Display current locations of planets and their orbits. more>>
Solar System Wallpaper 1 is developed to identify the positions of the planets in their orbits on the user's desktop wallpaper. Every time it is run, it shows the current locations of the planets and their orbits, as seen from above (north of) the Solar System. Even the background image is the view of space seen from the correct orientation, with a horizontal angle of view of 135 degrees.
As the planets' positions are updated when the application is run, it is advisable to place a shortcut to PlanetWallpaper.exe in the Startup folder located at Start All Programs Startup. This way the application will run whenever Windows starts. Please note that by using this software you must adhere to the licence agreement included. The background image was transformed from Axel Mellinger's All-Sky Milky Way Panorama. Used by permission.
