LyricsFX is a visualization plug-in for Winamp to automatically search for and display lyrics.

3D accelerated graphics and smooth scrolling and highlighting is used to display the lyrics in perfect sync with the music. Lyrics are automatically fetched from the internet, and are cached for future use. Several popular lyric databases are searched, and more are automatically added.

ID3v2 allows to store the lyric of a song directly in the tag. Lyrics ID3 is a script for amaroK which uses this fact.

If the writing script runs, the lyrics of the actual song are stored automatically in the mp3-tag.

The reading script, is an amaroK lyric script, which reads the mp3-tag on a fetchLyric request.

The download able file contains two scripts:

read_lyric_from_id3: amaroK Lyric Script
reads the USLT frame of the id3v2 header and sends the lyrics to amarok

save_lyric_to_id3:
Stores the lyrics, fetched from amaroK to the USLT frame in the ID3v2 header
The Lyrics are automatically saved on trackChange and Play
With the context menu saveLyrik the Lyrics are stored manually

Warning:
(1) The lyrics are stored in the mp3-File. I can not guaranty that the file is not damaged after the ID3 writing process.
(2) The files are not checked if they are a mp3. So non mp3 files may be damaged after writing.

G-Lyrics is a song lyrics searcher. G-lyrics helps you to search for lyrics on the internet.

After you download the file, unpack it and run G-Lyrics.exe. It will immediately try to read what youre listening to in Winamp and find the lyrics. Winamp is the default player, but if you want to switch to WMP, you can use right-click to bring up the option-menu. (NOTE To get it working with WMP, you need to turn on the skin named "Professional", though others might work)

This menu also offers the ability to save the current displayed lyrics. The lyrics IS autosaved when downloading them, but if you want to change the lyrics you can save it manually.

Besides getting the song-info from players, you can do a manual search. The search-box is bought up by double-clicking anywhere in the textbox. Enter your song in the "Artist - Song Title"-format.
Youll also notice that G-Lyrics is shown in the system tray, along with being minimized to the tray, instead of the Windows taskbar.

A lyrics displayer for Winamp: it will display the lyrics of the song Winamp is currently playing (normally a MP3 file or a CD Track). It will display the lyrics while you are working on any other program, or if you want it will display them on top ofall the other programs.

Support for other sites its also pretty trivial to add (only a few methods have to be implemented) and ill be porting all the existing plugins in not much time. Check out the code if you want to help.

Also included theres a special plugin, Lyriki Submit, which can add missing lyrics to Lyriki.com (a Lyriki account is needed to use it). If you dont want to submit lyrics you can still use the simple Lyriki script (it will still take care of querying the other scripts when needed).
