Free sort files software for windows

A more pretty than useful Widget.
I tend to download stuff to my desktop and then sort them some other time but because I like to keep my desktop clean I made this Widget. When you drag files or folders onto it Sort it Later moves them to a predefined directory. Clicking on "Sort" will open that directory so that you can move the files where they should go.

How is CMsort working? CMsort is reading records of an input file until the adjusted memory is reached. Then the records are sorted and written to a temporary file. This will be repeated until all records are processed. Finally, all
temporary files are merged into the output file.

XMp3Sort 3.1 is a Program aiming to sort MP3 files downloaded with a peer to peer. It sorts MP3 files by artist in folders named after each artist that is found. It does not matter if there are any artists which are misspelled because it compares artist within a factor which you can adjust.

Sorted is a file utility which sorts selected files into folders of predefined size.

If you have a CD burner and regularly burn collections of MP3 files, or digital camera images, then Sorted is probably exactly what you want.

A shell extension to the right-click menu in Windows Explorer Dir Utils adds a set of six new options to the context menu in Windows Explorer when you right-click on a directory/folder.
These functions will be of particular interest to anyone who downloads lots of files from the internet or the newsgroups into one "downloads" directory and then has to spend time sorting out image files from movie clips, extracting the contents of zip files, checking for unwanted executables or organizing multiple sections of "split" files (e.g RAR files or Master Splitter/JAS files).
Dir Utils was designed to be a shell extension to the right-click menu in Windows Explorer that provides various functions for organizing files downloaded from the internet, especially zip files, image files and split files.

This app is a way to sort files as pipcs by renaming them all by folder ie : all flowers pics will be named FLOW0.jpg to FLOW50.jpg. It avoids duplicate names.
