SourceSafe Reporter creates reports of your Microsoft Visual SourceSafe databases. Quickly and effectively report on projects, files, permissions, checkouts and users.

SourceSafe Reporter Report Types:

Project and Files:
List all the projects and files in a SourceSafe database. Choose to display:
Projects, Files, File Versions, Check Outs, Shared Files, Project Versions

Permissions:
Report on the Project Permissions that users have in a SourceSafe Database. Process by all users or report on an individual basis. Report on the entire database or target particular projects.

Check Outs:
Create a report on every file that is currently checked out of a SourceSafe database. Process by all users or report on an individual basis, on individual projects or an entire database.

Real-time backups and synchronization, replication to one or several remote SourceSafe databases etc SourceReplicator is designed for organizations with remote development teams and/or seeking for an effective disaster recovery or real-time backup for SourceSafe databases. It provides the following services: real-time backups and synchronization, replication to one or several remote SourceSafe databases, user management, and event subscription and notification.

· SourceReplicator allows two or more development teams to work concurrently in two or more SourceSafe databases and keep them automatically in sync. SourceReplicator uses the SourceSafe journal file to check for any actions performed in any of the SourceSafe databases. SourceReplicator allows setting up a maximum file size of the journal files to avoid running out of space due to large journal files; once the maximum file size is reached SourceReplicator cleans the file automatically.

· SourceReplicator can notify via email any subscribers of any type of event. For instance, a user can create a notification to be emailed in case someone changes a file in SourceSafe; another user would only want to be notified in case of any checkouts or deletions; the Administrator can create a notification to be informed in case there are any errors in the replication, etc. There is no limit in the number of notifications that can be created for each user.

· SourceReplicator has a very friendly web-based user interface to allow any SourceSafe user to access notification preferences and change their email address or SourceSafe passwords; it also allows the SourceSafe administrator to manage and configure notifications, reset user passwords, change any active subscriptions, or setup new or existing replications.
