Free split and join files software for windows

Split and Join 3 is one of the most utility that enables you to split large files into pieces small enough to transport on floppy disk. Select the file and the destination folder, and then enter the size of each piece in bytes to do the deed.

A number of popular split sizes are readily available to choose from. In addition to splitting the file, Split and Join also creates a small batch (bat) file you can use to reassemble the pieces. It splits very big files and every file type.

Divide a file into several smaller split files and compose again Splitting application makes possible it for them to divide a file into several smaller split files and to compose again. This is practical if they want to accommodate big files on several diskettes.
It comes configured with some of the common media sizes (Floppy, CD etc.) and can also use custom sizes. The program can create a batch file, that can later join the split files. Splitting also integrates into the Windows Explorer right click menu and files can be split via the SendTo menu. The program can install and uninstall easily with the file standing below.
Split of a file:
- Choose "Split" in "Action choose".
- Define the maximum file size of a split-file in "Size of a split-file in byte".
- Choose the file to split. In order to open this file, you have the following options: dialog "File open", drag the file on the program-window (Drag & Drop) or the context menu "Send to".
- Choose a directory to save the split-files in "File save".
- Click of "Start" to split the file.
Compose the split-files:
- Choose "Compose" in "Action choose".
- Choose the file with the file extension *.spx, that created with the split-files. - This file contains all information, that to compose is required. In order to - open this file, you have the following options: dialog "File open", drag the file on the program-window (Drag & Drop), context menu "Send to" or by double click of the file (*.spx).
- Choose a directory to save the file in "File save".
- Click of "Start" to compose the split-files.

SjOIN is a simple Split & Join file application. It has an already defined Split Size and a Configurable Split Size. I am using it in order to Split one large file into many ordered pieces so that send easily the fragment (pieces) over the internet. It includes a Joining and a Splitting Utility, and the most of it is that it has been tested by its own user and programmer.
