The main reason for writing App Killer was to stop the infestation of spyware that normally comes with P2P (Peer 2 Peer) applications and the legalities of downloading copywrited material.
The software works in a unique way, this enables applications to be blocked no matter what the file name or window title is. It will check your system every 30 seconds for programs on your block list, if it finds any open then it will close them immediately.
As you will see, since the original P2P Killer software was developed we have added many more programs to the block list. For this reason we decided to move from the P2P Killer name to a more generic name App Killer.
