Sentinel XP Theme Beta 1
A cool Windows XP visual style inspired by the Windows Media Player skin called The Sentinel more>> A cool Windows XP visual style inspired by the Windows Media Player skin called The Sentinel
Sentinel is a Windows XP visual style inspired by the Windows Media Player skin called The Sentinel, made by The Skins Factory.
There are two ways to run it:
1 - You can extract everything to a folder and go double-clicking all the .msstyle files and manually change color schemes and matching wallpapers or you can
2 - Extract all the .theme files and Sentinel_A and Sentinel_B folders to your %WINDIR%Resourcesthemes folder and select the color schemes from Display Properties, this way is quicker but it takes up a lot of space on your themes list and youll most probably loose your cursor and the default desktop icon settings
Here are the Commandments to obey when using Sentinel :
- Though shallt use ONLY Normal Size fonts.
- Though shallt NOT use large icons in the quick launch area.
- Use ClearType font smoothing, otherwise titlebar fonts look blocky.
- Disable the Address Toolbar from your taskbar cos it throws it off sync when youre using multiple-line taskbars.
- Disable the Language Bar from the taskbar.
The main visual style is just about complete, still need to do vertical taskbar, logonUI, cursors, shell32 animations and icons.
There are 14 color schemes most of them are based on a light color but a few, namely Black2, and Graphite are very dark, great at night but I dont recommend using them for too long...itll affect your mood.
Some of the color schemes from the MMD3 Winamp3 skin match some of these color schemes really well.
All the images have been optimized so dont worry about performance
System requirements:
- Requires either StyleXP or uxtheme.dll patch
Enhancements:
- Added Black & Black2 color schemes edited Deviant a tad
- Shellstyles!
- Minor changes to some other parts

AlfaClock Free Edition 1.99 build March 31, 2009
AlfaClock is a handy taskbar clock with powerful capabilities and stylish design. It comes with Atomic Clock Synchronization feature, alarm, ISO8601 compliant calendar, and date/time announcer. Download your copy of AlfaClock now more>>
AlfaClock Free Edition 1.99 build March 31, 2009 is the choice for those who want to have it all. Ancient Egyptians used the shadow clock (gnomon) to determine correct time. The Greeks used the water clock, or clepsydra. The first mechanical clock appeared in the fourteenth century. Then, in 1929 first electronic timepieces appeared. As time changes, so do the time-keeping devices. Now, in the beginning of the third millennium, the most precise time can be displayed only by the atomic clock.
nd thanks to the Internet and AlfaClock , you can have the atomic clock right on your desktop. At first glance, AlfaClock is a regular taskbar clock (sometimes called "tray clock"). But that is just your first impression. This tray clock combines multitude of cool features with stylish design. First, you can set AlfaClock to display time, date and day of the week simultaneously. Second, you can customize AlfaClock to announce this information periodically. And you can set an alarm - a very handy feature, if you frequently keep losing track of time, while using your computer. Atomic Clock Synchronization feature allows you to periodically connect to atomic clock time servers to make sure that your computer displays correct time and adjust it automatically, if necessary. Correct time may be critical to some computer users - for example, to professional eBay bidders, who make their final bids thirty seconds before the auction closes.
AlfaClock has quite a few of extra features that other taskbar clocks don't have. Like copy time/date to clipborad feature. Or a fully customizable pop-up calendar. Created to ISO8601 specifications, it allows you to change the first day of the week, highlight weekends and holidays.
AlfaClock takes very little system resources and is fully compatible with all Windows versions - Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP.

Enhancements:
AlfaClock Free Edition is a fully redeveloped version of AlfaClock. To fix the stored up bugs and to avoid new ones we had to write AlfaClock from scratch. As a result AlfaClock Classic is of less space but works faster and is more stable. All problems with Microsoft Windows XP SP2 are left behind as well as the conflicts with such products as StyleXP, Windows Blinds, TraySaver, etc
- The program as a whole:
- Now AlfaClock are stored separately for each user. Every user can configure AlfaClock to his/her liking.
- The Multilingual User Interface support has been added. Now you can "communicate" with AlfaClock in your mother tongue. If your native language isn't available in the list - no problem - you can translate the program interface into your native language yourself.
- Additional program settings including system-wide hotkeys, web-updates have been processed and improved.

- Unique feature: 100% full support of Windows XP Visual Styles (Themes). AlfaClock accurately determines all taskbar clock settings with enabled Visual Styles (Themes). We have no information on any other software product with the similar feature.
