VisualSniffer 2.0
VisualSniffer is a powerful packet capture tool and protocol analyzer more>>
VisualSniffer can also be used by network programmers for checking what the developing program has sent and received, or others to get a full picture of the network traffic. For example, parents may want to know what kids are doing online. If you stored important data in your PC, you may need to detect whether your data is sending out by some "Adware" or "Spyware". If you are a student, you may want to know how your network is working and the mechanism of each network protocol.
Main features:
- Analyzing network traffic based on user defined rule set in real-time.
- Saving and loading of the whole captured traffic for later reference.
- Automatically saving data on a hard disk so as to monitor traffic for a long period.
- Saving captured packets into a log file with format of "libpcap", it can also load data from a "libpcap" file.
- Searching packets based on criteria including IP address, protocol, content, size, time, etc. in a whole captured traffic.
- Filtering to receive only subsets of the network traffic.
- Displaying captured packets based on their source and destination addresses and connections. Users can define workspaces so as to monitor various packets based on criteria including IP address, protocol, content, size, time, etc.
- Graphical and statistical displays with colored charts.
- Schedule regular capture tasks
- Decode an variety of network protocol.
C++ sets class 1.0
C++ sets class can be used to perform set operations in your programs more>>
The sets class supports the following set operations by means of C++ operator overloading:
union
The union of two sets A, B is the set of all elements which belong to either A or B. In the sets class, the symbol + is the binary union operator:
A + B = {x: x is in A -or- x is in B }
intersection
The intersection of two sets A, B is the set of all elements which belong to both A and B. The symbol * is the binary intersection operator:
A * B = {x: x is in A -and- x is in B }
example
Let A = {1, 2, 3, 4} and B = {3, 4, 5, 6}. Then
A + B = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}
A * B = {3, 4}
complement
In set theory, sets are subsets of a fixed universal set U. In the sets class, U is the set of elements numbered from 1 to MAX_WORDS * WORD_SIZE. In the class declaration file below, the following definitions are made:
#define MAX_WORDS 2
#define WORD_SIZE ( 8 * sizeof( unsigned long ) )
These parameters make the range of U, 1 to 64 in sets. To increase or decrease the size of U, change the defined value of MAX_WORDS.
The complement of set A is the set of elements belonging to U but not belonging to A. The symbol ~ is the unary complement operator:
~A = {x: x is in U, x is not in A }
example
Let A = {1, 2, 3, 4} and B = {3, 4, 5, 6}. Then
~A = {5, 6, 7, . . .}
~B = {1, 2, 7, 8, 9, . . .}
difference
The difference of two sets A, B is the set of all elements which belong to A less those in B. The symbol - is the binary difference operator:
A - B = {x: x is in A, x is not in B}
example
Let A = {1, 2, 3, 4} and B = {3, 4, 5, 6}. Then
A - B = {1, 2}
It can be shown that A - B = A * ~B.
symmetric difference
The symmetric difference of two sets A, B is the set of all elements which belong to A or to B, but not both.
DBScript 1.9
DBScript utility generates a SQL script based on a given database table more>>
Unlike BCP (a command-line utility for performing similar actions under Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase), however, this utility does give you the opportunity to deal with a subset of the table. You may specify a SELECT statement, and DBScript will only generate INSERT statements for those rows returned by your SELECT.

Quest InTrust 8.5
collect, store & report network event data more>> With its SecureCollect technology, InTrust allows you to automate the secure collection of event logs. The ability to schedule the collection reduces your workload and allows the collection to occur during the evening, lowering daytime network utilization. And with InTrusts optional agents, you can filter the collection lowering the amount of data that is sent and encrypt the data before it is sent increasing security.
InTrust utilizes a unique, two-tiered storage architecture known as StoreMore. The first tier of StoreMore is known as the repository which offers unparalleled long-term compression over storing the same amount of event data in other products databases. The second tier of StoreMore is the database that allows for advanced analysis and reporting. Most installations initially collect the data to the repository and then move subsets of the data to the database when needed. This unparalleled storage architecture gives you better historical insight into your network than was previously possible.
InTrusts FlexReport technology allow you to create and distribute the information everyone needs to support their auditing needs. With pre-defined and custom reports, you can be sure to provide the exact information that is required. You can read the reports online, create .PDFs for emailing, or post reports to an intranet or to SharePoint Portal Server allowing users to help themselves to the information they need.
InTrust improves security by alerting you in real-time to unusual user and administrator activity, such as attempts to access files during off hours, multiple failed logon attempts followed by a successful log on, and other business critical security events. Additionally, InTrust alerts you to unusual system activity, helping you ensure that you servers are not being compromised. Offering an added layer of flexibility, alerts can also be sent directly to you by e-mail or third-party monitoring applications.<<less

Keep-in-Touch Pro 1.0.1 Beta
Keep-in-Touch Pro is a contact manager software application more>> Keep-in-Touch Pro is a contact manager software application
Keep-in-Touch Pro is a contact manager specifically created for software and internet-related companies that want to keep their customers informed with the least bit of trouble on the technical side.
Keep-in-Touch Pro allows import of contact information from Outlook Express, a POP3 mailbox, or text files.
Keep-in-Touch Pro parses all kinds of order confirmation emails from e.g. RegSoft, RegNow, ShareIt, Kagi, and many more.
If your brand of order notification is not supported, let us know and we will add it. It is even possible to add your own DLL by using the developers SDK!
Main features:
- Import contacts directly from Microsoft Outlook Express
- As it turns out, most people like to use OE for their email communication. KIT Pro can import contact information directly from your OE message folders! It can even work with multiple identities in OE.
- KIT Pro allows any number of groups with any number of contacts. It is very easy to sort, filter and select. Cut and paste individual contacts or whole subsets from one group to another. Filter all duplicates and auto-select the ones you can delete. Filter all contacts that contain email errors. Detect non-unique contacts (that exist in more than one group).
- KIT Pro is not afraid of a few thousand contacts! Actually we work with test sets of 50.000 contacts, in which case sorting and filtering is still blazing fast.
- Import contacts from complex order confirmations
- KIT Pro is able to parse complex order confirmation emails and extract just the information you want to keep. This can e.g. be the name, email address, order ID and purchase amount.
- KIT Pro can parse emails from RegSoft, RegNow, ShareIt, Kagi, and many more. If you have special needs, let us know. Send us an example order email (feel free to change sensible information) and we will write the parser for it. There is even an SDK so that you can write your own!
- Cross-group check of contact info before sending
- Make sure not to send special discount offers to customers that already purchased! With KIT Pro you can verify if contacts exists in both groups, and remove all that have purchased from the trial users group. No more painful mistakes!
- All contact and group information within KIT Pro is stored in an XML document. You can easily edit it with another application, or view it. If you must somehow add your own data, you just have to write an XML file!
- Consequently, exporting data is as simple as reading or processing KIT Pros XML file. It this does not suit you, you can also import and export data in a TAB delimited format (compatible with most databases).
- KIT Pro remembers everything.. First of all, actions are logged. Second, KIT Pro remembers which users have gotten which messages, so that you avoid sending duplicates.
- Add your own fields to any contact. Basic fields are First Name, Last Name and Email. You can add many more. Simply define them once and they will be parsed just like the others.
- It becomes really easy to change the "Dear user" for "Dear John". It is a matter of replacing "User" by the variable "%FriendlyName"! Use the power of personalization, users love to see their own name and details in mail addressed to them. Personalization does not stop at the message body. You can personalize all fields you like, also "Subject:", "To:", etcetera.
- You can use "message preview" to see exactly what your message will look like when it reaches the user. And you can send test messages to yourself just to make sure!

Antaeus 2.3.57
Antaeus is a powerful and flexible system for finding patterns in multivariate data. more>>
Antaeus 2.3.57 is a powerful and flexible system for finding patterns in multivariate data. It is intended to be used by a single investigator working from individual data tables.
Major Features:
- It provides tools for looking at your data when you don't yet know what you're looking for, led by your intuition and knowledge about the emergent phenomena represented.
- Antaeus does not use and requires no knowledge of statistics. However, it is based on the functional use of fundamental mathematical principles. The basic plot type used everywhere in
- Antaeus is the scatter plot, supplemented by its high-density counterpart, the sunflower plot. These plots are supported by quantile plots and histograms, which are used to see the data of a single variable. Scatter plots are used to look for the relationship between two variables, but as the number of variables increases, more and more scatter plots become necessary to visualize all the possible interrelationships.
- Antaeus is built on a framework to which increasingly specialized data visualization tools will be attached. For instance, our current 2.3 release builds upon our previous 2.2 release with the addition systems for adding new measures which are functions of existing measures, adding new dimensions from the partitioning of scatter plots, the scatter plot array, the scatter plot track, single pixel data points (for very large data sets), Z-space view for creating subsets from slices or regions, sampling options, and the ability to stop the drawing of any plot (for large data sets). As more tools and subsystems are attached to the framework, so will the depth with which Antaeus can be used to look for patterns.
- All the plots generated by Antaeus are very highly finished and do not require any user interaction to achieve this level of quality.
- Users can size the plots by dragging the edges of their windows and they have extensive control over the palettes used to color them, but all their construction details are handled proactively.
- Antaeus is also a platform from which plots may be published. Any plot may be saved to file or clipboard as a Windows Enhanced Metafile (EMF), which can be embedded in reports, papers, and presentations created in Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint and Publisher. Support for EMF is also increasing among non-Microsoft publication suites. These sophisticated programs are empowered by the use of plots they cannot possibly construct themselves.
Enhancements:
- Fix
-
- Brushes were not being drawn in cubes that contain no dimensions.
- This oversight has been corrected.
- Change: Extra error handling has been added to help us track down the lock-out problem noted under build 2.3.56.
Requirements: Windows Vista and XP

DCT-Based Iris Recognition 1.0 is one of the most convenient and easy to use programs for iris matching using zero crossings of a Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) as a means of feature extraction for later classification. The DCT of a series of averaged overlapping patches are taken from normalized iris images and a small subset of coefficients is used to form subfeature vectors. Iris codes are generated as a sequence of many such subfeatures, and classification is carried out using a weighted Hamming distance metric.
