Displays graphs of algebraic functions in a variety of forms. more>> Displays graphs of algebraic functions in a variety of forms. These include polar and cartesian co-ordinates, parametric and intrinsic functions. A wide range of functions are built-in, from simple trig and hyperbolic functions to things such as the ceil and gamma functions. On-screen HTML help is bulit-in.
Functions can be defined such as
f(x)= 1 + x
These can be of unlimited complexity, and can refer to other functions such as
g(x) = f(x) + 2*x
Other variables can be set up, so we can define for example
f(x) = m*x + c
and then vary m and c and see the change to the graph.
It will also handle differentiation, integration, sums and products of series. It will deal with Maclaurin and Fourier series, such as a Fourier approximation to a square wave.
The graph limits can be altered in various ways - zoom in and out, center, left right up down and direct entry. Mouse wheel does zoom in and out.
A chord can be displayed on a function, with the slope of the chord calculated and displayed.<<less

In Eurobloks you can practise in a challenging way the change between the Eur... more>> In Eurobloks you can practise in a challenging way the change between the Euro and the Spanish peseta, DutchGuilder, German Mark or Belgian Frank.In a rectangle are falling down green and blue blocks.The numbers in the green blocks represent the currency you have chosen in the main menu (pesetas, guilders, marks or franks), and the numbers in the blue blocks represent euros.You manoeuvre the blocks with the cursor keys: to the right, to the left and quickly down. You must try to make columns of two blocks: a green block above a blue block or a blue one above a green one. But you can only do this, if the values in euros and the chosen currency are the same. If they arent, then a red line will pop up from below and you will be penalysed by a reduction of the rectangle, which immediately will make it more difficult to proceed. When you have completed 15 "sums", you will continue in a higher level. After finishing the game, you will be able to write your name into the High Scores, which will surely increase your motivation! After playing the Eurobloks for a while, certainly you will notice that you are more used to calculate with euros.<<less
