Data will be exchanged as comma separated data (ASCII file), allowing the exchange of data on average weather conditions between vessels. Database file meteo.dat should be in same folder as executable or in path.
Vessels need to use NavTools Route or NavTools GPS to be able to use this database in voyage planning. Exchanging data will result in a big increase in available statistical data for each area and season, resulting in increased accuracy in voyage planning.

Free Synchronize is a complete file and folder synchronization software application that can be used to quickly and easily get the latest files from the source location copied to the destination location, without going through a timely file backup process. All settings in this application can be saved as a named configuration. This is especially useful if you have several different drives or folders that you need to synchronize. Once the current configuration is named and saved, it can easily be restored by selecting that configuration name from the drop down.
Safe mode is designed to make sure nothing gets changed or deleted from the destination location. Only files that do not currently exist in the destination will be copied. Even if the file is newer in the source location, it will not be copied. Normal mode is the most standardized way to synchronize files. It will copy files from the source location that do not exist in the destination location. But, this mode will also copy over any files that have been changed as well, assuming the last modified date of the file in the source location is newer than the modified date of the destination file.

The Script Editor is used to generate (or edit) script files that can then be used with Folder Synchronize (Ver 2.7+) or Directory Toolkit (Ver 4.1+).
The Script Editor dialog lists the commands & functions currently available scripts. Usage is a matter of selecting items and/or typing in fields such as the paths. The Script Editor can be installed in any directory you wish. A basic hlp file is included.
Important Usage Notes:
Only one script can be loaded at a time. You can have multiple instances of the the Editor running though.
The editor may not offer save prompts under all conditions if you try to close or load a new script before saving your work. Please sure to save your work before closing or opening a new script.
If you want to use sections of one script in another, clone (copy) separate files using Directory Toolkit ;-) or Windows Explorer. Then edit the scripts separately.
The editor currently does not offer overwrite warnings during a save. Please be sure of your file names when you click on Save.
The script editor is compatible with Folder Synchronize (Ver 2.6+) or Directory Toolkit (Ver 4.1+). Do not use scripts created with the editor with older versions of Folder Synchronize. Use at your own risk with Directory Toolkit versions older than 3.2.<<less

This program can synchronize only files which were modified in the past few days. So, you can have two large folders on two computers, and you are using Flash Drive for copying files, for example. When you make some change in one of these folders you can call Sync Last Files for synchronization. It will copy only modified files to the Flash Drive. This greatly helps to synchronize big folders, which are normally cant be placed on the Flash Drive entirely.
Another great feature of this utility is capability of making incremental backups of files which are will be replaced. So you can return to any version of a file, if you incendentialy damaged last version of that file.<<less
