System Monitor is designed to monitor Microsoft Windows computers on a network. It can monitor the usage of CPU, Memory, Disk Drives and Network Adapters and notify you when a certain resource exceeds a certain value. You can set it up to log events and create usage reports to databases located anywhere on your network. You can also search remote computers for files, folders or running processes and delete or terminate these with ease. By adding rules that will be triggered when certain conditions are met for a specified resource on a computer, you can have notifications sent through email, visually presented or use the Microsoft Text-To-Speech to hear them spoken out loud. System Monitor can also automatically scan your network for available computers, making it easy for you to get an overview of your network.

System Monitor can also display detailed information for all running processes on a networked computer and reveal information such as Base Priority, CPU, Elapsed Time, IO Read, IO Write, IO Total, Memory Peak, Page Faults/s, Pagefile, Process ID and Threads for running processes. System Monitor will also allow you to manage your remote computers to view event logs, manage services and shared folders or easily connect to them using Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection.

The graphical user interface is designed with a top priority on high usability in mind. Unlike other competing products it takes a very short time to setup your environment. Another great feature which distinguishes System Monitor from its competitors is that it does not require you to install any additional software on the computers that you are connecting to. All windows and dialogs throughout the application supports online help through tooltips that will popup when you move the mouse cursor over a control in a window.

The TYAN System Monitor was designed to view and monitor the hardware conditions of a TYAN server board.

The TSM software was not written in a manner that can accomidate both large and a small font environment. There is nothing we can do since the fundamental design of the software precludes the ability to use a small font environment.

In order to have the TSM software work correctly you have to go into the Display properties and change Font size, under the general tab for settings, from large to small fonts. Once this change has been made then the TSM software will work correctly.

TSM browser, provide a GUI for user to do all configuration and view sensor readings. You can install on any system, which can access the host system with TCP/IP network.

Features of "TYAN System Monitor":

· Authentication
TSM Server Agent authenticate the user to login TSM Server Agent and verify corresponding privileges.
When login, please specified the Server Name(or IP address, if on local, localhost is also accepted), User Name and Password, Domain(empty if no domain).

· Remote Browse
You can use TSM Console browse the sensor reading from console remotely

· Remote Power Control
TSM Console can wake up, power down or reboot the remote the system through the TSM Server Agent.

· Sensor Reading Auto Refresh
In TSM Console, click the Monitor Button can switch auto refresh state with and off. Refresh rate can be adjusted in TSM Console->General Settings->General Panel

· TC Scope
In TSM Console, you can browse the sensor reading, set the threshold and alert setting in TC Scope.

· Sensor Threshold Setting
Sensor lower and upper threshold setting can be set in TC Scope in TSM Console

· Alert and Error Action
TSM Server Agent Provide alert and error action, such as email, power down and reboot, on host system, when sensor reading is abnormal. You can set them in TC Scope

· Alert History Log
All alert(email, reboot and power down) history can be logged on TSM Server Agent

· Sensor Reading Log
Sensor Readings can be logged in specified file on TSM Console, and the log frequence equals to the refresh rate

· Operating Environment Computation (OEC)
TSM Console monitor and calculate the host sensor reading in desired time, and adjust the corresponding threshold automatically

· Floating Scroll Mini-Window
In TSM Console, when monitor state is "On", the Mini-Window will scroll the Sensor Reading automatically.
Right click the Mini-Window left part, you can get the Menu
Left click and hold the Mini-Window left part to move the Mini-Window

· Tray Icon
Right click the TSM Console Icon to get the Menu
When window minimized, left click the Tray Icon to restore the browse window
