TAIL 2K.214
TAIL - filter program more>>
The main purpose of this command would be to reduce the output so as
to display just the end (by default) or start of the output.
If search strings are specified then the command will "tail" around
the line where the strings appear.
You can use "/?" as parameters to see some other options.
JTail 2.1
JTail is an advanced Java / Swing implementation of the Unix tail utility more>>
In addition, the user has the posibility to suspend and resume the display of data from the monitored file. When suspended, the user can single step through the new data being written to the files being monitored.
JTail can be used to monitor both files on both local systems and via the Fishcroft RfaServer (see below) on remote systems.

Features include:
* Tail multiple files at one time
* Add file to favorites so you dont have to always browse to the same file every time you start the program
* Ability to set filters to include or exclude lines in a file
* Set colors and font styles to words/phrases that you are tailing
* Set specific files to open automatically when the program starts
* Ability to set the refresh delay (how often the program checks the file for changes)
* Ability to set the buffer size (how many lines show in the tail window)
* Color and filter settings are applied to individual files so that you dont have to have the same color/filter settings to all open files
* Find text in the file that is being tailed
* Pause program from tailing file(s)
* Ability to scroll through file while tailing is taking place. Program still adds text but doesnt follow at the bottom of the file until you scroll back to the bottom
* Hold control key down and use mouse wheel to change font size in window
* Print selected text or an entire log window

MakeLogic Tail 2.1.0
MakeLogic Tail is similar to the tail -f of Linux showing the last few lines of a log file in GUI more>>
Makelogic tail will display the last few lines of a large log file in real time. It is particulary helpful for monitoring the error logs and access logs of web servers. It comes with an easy to use GUI, for all platforms.
Main features:
- Supports creation of "MakeLogic Tail" Projects
- Related log files can be added into one project for easy log file management
- Hot links to recenlty opened files from the client area of the main window
- Tails multiple log files in a single MDI window. Each log file will be opened in a separate child window. Hence more than one log can be monitored at the same time.
- Search the log files. Ability to search the currently active log file, or all open log files. Search can be either case sensitive or case insensitive
- Supports Drag and Drop. Simply drag a log file and drop into the application window. The log file will be opened and tailed.
- Highlights chosen set of keywords in different colors. Choose your own set of key words by entering them in the Options dialog. Whenever these keywords appear in the log file, they will be highlighted in the given color. Ex. you could highlight the "Exception" messages in the error log files.
- Keep track of the most recently opened documents. All the recenly opened documents will be listed in the File/Recent Files flip menu. The log file will be opened by just cliking on the corresponding menu item.
- Cascade or Tile the log file windows. For simultaneous visualization of access and error logs, or any other logs, you can choose to arrange the log file windows as per your convenience.
- Shows line number and column number of the cursor location in the log file.

The statusbar contains a microformat logo that lights up when it detects known microformats. It is grey when it could detect none. rnrnClicking on the logo opens up the sidebar with a list of all microformats on the page.
For hcards and hcalendar microformats these contain an export button. It is now possible, via options, to set which of the above formats you want to detect and/or export. Also some debug options have been added so you can see the HTML, and in case of export, the exported content.

Fat Tail Option Calculator 1.0
The Fat Tail Option calculator makes use of Stable Distributions. more>> The Fat Tail Option calculator makes use of Stable Distributions to estimate the theoretical value of European options. This provides a richer method with a better fit to real data and real capital market behavior than the common Black-Scholes formula. Especially, it can be used to take into account the existence of crash events.
The Fat Tail Option Calculator is available as a stand-alone application or as an Add-in to MS Excel. It is available as a free download.
See also the Fractal Financial Markets essay.
System Requirements
The Fat Tail Option Calculator requires Windows NT 4.0 or later or Windows 95 or later. If you want to use the Excel Add-in, Excel 97 or later is required.
As there are millions of complex numerical calculations involved in calculating the value of an option using stable distributions, we recommend that you use a modern computer with at least a Pentium 400 MHz processor.
Mathematical background
The most common way to estimate the value of options is to use the Black-Scholes formula. If the price changes of a security are log-normally distributed, the Black-Scholes formula provides the theoretical price of so called European options on that security. Unfortunately, there is overwhelming evidence that price changes are not log-normally distributed. Instead, security price changes have what is often called fat tails. They also exhibit skewness. Fat tails can be modeled with so called Stable Distributions, also called Levy distributions and Levy-Pareto distributions. A Normal or Gaussian distribution is a special case of a stable distribution. The Cauchy distribution is another well known example of a stable distribution. In fact, the Gaussian and the Cauchy distributions are the only two stable distributions for which closed form mathematical formulas exist.<<less

Hoo WinTail Lite 3.6 build 769
real-time file viewer more>> Hoo WinTail is a real-time file viewer for Windows like the UNIX tail -f utility. It can be used to view the end of a growing file. It is ideal for viewing application traces or server logs in real time. You can view the last part of a large file without the need to load the entire file quickly.
Hoo WinTail is only a file viewer. It makes no changes to the file that is opened. It opens the file in read-only mode. As new lines are written to the file by another program (such as would happen with a log file, for example), Hoo WinTail reads the new lines and displays them.<<less

SpatialVerb VST 2.8.5 offers an effective tool which helps you to generate the early impulse response of the reverb unit. The late impulse response is generated by a feedback delay network to minimize ringing. This simple to use yet powerful VST effect is great for those who want a realistic reverb effect. This plugin has high quality 32-bit processing with full stereo input and output. Reverberation is modelled with a raytracer which generates the early reverb response and a feedback delay network which generates a smooth (no ringing) late response.

- Stereo Output (2 Virtual Sound Receivers)
- Room Modeling
- Ray Tracing
- Smooth Reverb Tail
Enhancements: Open Source [GPL]
