Think of it as a place to store things to do. Tasks are marked according to status (past, today, future) for easy recognition. They can be filtered so that only tasks for the currently selected date are shown, or all tasks are shown.
You can browse through dates/tasks using the buttons along the top of the main window, enabling you to go to the oldest and newest tasks in the database (date-wise), or to go to the current date (today).
