Welcome to Text Trix[tm], the text tinker from Text Flex[tm]! Text Trix is a one-stop tool chest of text tools. Pick from an array of Text Trix "plug-ins," specialized tools that allow you to modify large amounts of text quickly and specifically. The tool chest has its own built-in features to help you organize and navigate through your code or text documents.

Whats New in This Release:

· Our v.0.5.1 release of Text Trix is the first bug-cruncher in our new FRIENDS (Family of Really Innovative ENDS) series. Our goal in this series is to get serious about making friends of Text Trix. Were seeking to create a family of plugins that will be a one-stop resource, and "end" to your search for text tools that make your typing easier. Or an "end*s*," cuz with Text Trix, the family keeps growing, and the trix never end!
· Of course, to build a family, we need a solid home to house it. This release focuses on crunching a few bugs in Text Trix itself as well as a couple of its plugins. Notable behind-the-scenes fixes include removal of a couple start-up errors you reported on some platforms. The new Song Sheet plugin also has a few tweaks to work with a wider variety of text formatting.
· Every house needs an exterminator...but soon well need a decorator! Weve blasted a few bugs here, and now were looking for new decor. If you have ideas for a plugin or would like to write your own, please dont hesitate to post one. We look forward to your joining the family!

Text Hide description
The technique used in this program is to hide the message inside the least significant bits of each pixel within a bitmap. You want to send someone an encrypted message but sometimes cryptography isnt enough, for example it might be illegal to use cryptography in some countries and you could get arrested if you are caught using cryptography.

So, you need to disguise your message so that it isnt obvious to any eavesdropper that there is even a message at all. Hiding the message in this way is commonly known as Steganography.

One way to do this is to hide your message inside a picture or sound file. This sounds extremely complicated but once you know how it works it is actually quite simple.

The technique used in this program is to hide the message inside the least significant bits of each pixel within a bitmap.

Rotate Text/Untransform Text is set that includes two free plugins for Adobe Illustrator 5.0 through 8.0.

Rotate Text:
Adds items to the Text menu to rotate point text to 90, 60, 45, 0, -45, -60 or -90 degrees. Great for maps (thats what I wrote it for).

Untransform Text:
Adds "Untransform Text" to the Text menu--removes transformations from point text such as rotation, shearing, etc.

AutoCaption Text watch a (already) selected Text File for changes, read FIRST (and only first) LINE OF TEXT from this file and Add To or Replace Text in CaptionBar of current active window (window OnTop) with THIS Line of Text.

AutoCaption Text is a tool that capture text.

Fx Text Talker is an application that converts any text to sound and save as WAV, MP3 or VOX. Load text from any text file, type text in or automatically monitor the windows clipboard.

GD::Text is a Perl module with text utilities for use with GD.
