<<lesswodBeep 1.0.0
BEEP protocol is a generic application protocol for connection-oriented, asynchronous interactions more>>
BEEP peers communicate with Messages over predefined Channels. Messages are generated by application defined Profiles. Before message is sent, and once message is received by the peer, Profile defines parsing to provide necessary information.
Messages
Messages are initiated by the application, and are prepared by defined Profile. Corresponding profile awaits on other side to parse the message and provide only necessary information.
Channels
All exchanges occur in the context of a channel -- a binding to a well-defined aspect of the application, such as transport security, user authentication, or data exchange.
Profiles
Each channel has an associated "profile" that defines the syntax and semantics of the messages exchanged. Implicit in the operation of BEEP is the notion of channel management. Except for few profiles defined internally in wodBeep, you can define your own profiles: for data exchange, tuning parameters etc.
Transport
A BEEP session is mapped onto an underlying transport service. It can be single TCP connection, but also UDP or any higher level two-way transport service - SMTP architecture. wodBeep implements TCP Transport for you - you can implement easily any other transport just by implementing IBeepTransport interface!
Although BEEP is peer-to-peer connection, it is convenient to label each peer to behave in context of a Listener (Server) or Initiator (Client).
wodBeep comes with several included profiles:
- SINK / ECHO profiles for testing,
- SYSLOG Raw and Cooked profiles for transmitting (and receiving) syslog messages
- ZIP tuning profile that will compress contents of messages on the fly
- ROT13 profile that will garble message data
haXe 1.16
Helps programers develop Websites and Web applications. more>>
The haXe compiler supports the following platforms:
- JavaScript : you can generate a single .js file from a set of haXe classes. You can access browser DHTML API as well as crossbrowser APIs such as Xml, Date or XmlHttpRequest... haXe is one of the best available languages to develop middle and large scale AJAX Web Applications.
- Flash : haXe can compile a SWF file for Flash Players 6 to 9. The language has great features and is at the same time both strict and dynamic. Using haXe increases productivity compared to ActionScript. All the Flash APIs are available unchanged in haXe so you will quickly get used to the language, and porting your existing code to haXe will be easy.
- Neko : haXe can compile bytecode that runs on the Neko Virtual Machine. An haXe program can then be run into the Apache web server (using mod_neko). This allows you to develop the server-side of your website using haXe. haXe has access to all Neko libraries such as filesystem , network, databases... and much more. Since it can easily be extended with additional libraries, haXe can be used to develop full-fledged desktop applications.
Main features:
- The haXe Syntax is similar to the one used in Java/JavaScript/ActionScript, so it?s very easy to learn and get used to haXe. haXe can also integrate easily in your favorite editor or IDE.
- The haXe Type System is strictly typed, enabling the compiler to detect most errors at compile-time. At the same time, it?s very different from classic strictly typed languages since you don?t have to write types everywhere in your program, thanks to type inference. It makes you feel like you are programming in a dynamically typed language while you are getting the security of a strictly typed language. The best of both worlds.
- The haXe Standard Library, including Date, XML, data structures... is specified to behave the same across all platforms. This enables you to share and reuse code logic between different platforms without needing to rewrite the same thing again and again.
- haXe is easily Extensible : you can add additional libraries and wrappers for platform-specific features. Thanks to conditional compilation you can have different implementation for a given API depending on the platform you want to compile to.
- haXe has a Remoting library that provides cross platform serialization and RPC, enabling you to directly call methods between platforms. For example calls may be made between the client and the server or between different client modules. Everything is handled transparently.
- haXe can be used to develop portable Desktop applications by using SWHX.
- haXe is Open Source software and has an active and enthusiastic Community which supports the language by developing content and additional libraries.
haXe is a Toolbox for the web developer. Since the compiler has support for several platforms you can choose the most suitable one to get your job done without having to learn and use a new language everytime. Although using haXe on both the client and server simplifies things thereby boosting productivity, haXe may be used exclusively on the client or the server. You can use haXe where it makes sense for you

NoBlankQuote 0.3.3
NoBlankQuote is a simple extension for Thunderbird not to quote empty lines more>>
It has no fancy menus, settings windows, buttons or icons. It just deletes quoted empty lines from your reply. It does not work for HTML messages. It does not work for accounts when the "Start my reply above the quote" is set up. Not quoting empty lines while top-posting is useless.
AWEToy 1.0 gamma 4
AWETOY application was designed to help you change sound font banks and set and preview instruments as well more>>
Use a virtual midi driver such as midimux or mrouter. Then tie the output of your midi keyboard to the input of AWETOY, and the output of AWETOY to the one of the inputs on your sequencer. The functionality of AWETOY is described by the "tab", but before we go to the tab functions, lets discuss the controls. AWETOY, like any good instrument, provides many interactive controls in the form of dials, sliders and push-button arrows.
You might be thinking: thats nice, but mouse controlled sliders are no match for analog sliders. Think again. The default slider increment or decrement (performed by left mouse-clicking (LMC) to either the right or left of the slider bar) can be set to other than the default value of one.
By using ALT-LMC, CTRL-LMC, SHIFT-LMC, you can set the delta value to a preset that you store in AWETOY.INI. The defaults are 2,5 and 12. This makes the sliders very customizable. Now, onto the tabs.

Vimperator 1.2
Firefox extension that will make your browser behave like it was the Vim text editor more>> Firefox extension that will make your browser behave like it was the Vim text editor
Vimperator is a Firefox extension that will make your Firefox browser behave like Vim.
Vimperator is a free browser add-on for Firefox, which makes it look and behave like the Vim text editor. It has similar key bindings, and you could call it a modal web browser, as key bindings differ according to which mode you are in.
Warning: To provide the most authentic Vim experience, the Firefox menubar and toolbar were hidden.
If you really need them, type: :set guioptions=mT to get it back. If you dont like Vimperator at all, you can uninstall it by typing :addons and remove/disable it. If you like it, but cant remember the shortcuts, press F1 or :help to get this help window back.
Since Vimperators GUI is embedded into a toolbar, it may look too 3D-like with the default theme. For the best experience, I therefore recommend the Whitehart theme or any other flat theme.
Main features:
- Vim-like keybindings (h,j,k,l,gg,G,0,$,ZZ,,etc.)
- Ex-commands (:quit, :open www.foo.com, ...)
- Tab completion available for all commands with support for longest matching when set in wildmode
- Hit-a-hint like navigation of links (start with f to follow a link)
- Advanced completion of bookmark and history URLs (searching also in title, not only URL)
- Vim-like statusline with a wget-like progress bar
- Minimal GUI (easily hide useless menubar and toolbar with :set guioptions=)
- Ability to :source javascript files, and to use a ~/.vimperatorrc file with syntax highlighting if you install this file
- Easy quick searches (:open foo will search foo in google, :open ebay terminator will search for terminator on ebay) with support for Firefox keyword bookmarks and search engines
- Count supported for many commands (3 will go back 3 pages)
- Beep on errors (:set nobeep to turn this off)
- Marks support (ma to set mark a on a webpage, a to go there)
- QuickMarks support (quickly go to previously marked web pages with go{a-zA-Z0-9})
- :map support (and feedkeys() for script writers)
- A comprehensive help file, explaining all commands, mappings and settings.
System requirements:
- Firefox 3.0 - 3.1a1pre
Enhancements:
- IMPORTANT: changed :command to behave like Vims version.
- Eg. An alert command specified previously as :command AlertMe alert(args) should now be defined as :command AlertMe :js alert()
- IMPORTANT: changed (again) the default keybinding to temporarily disable all
- Vimperator keybindings from ctrl-q to ctrl-z since many users complained about hitting ctrl-q twice and exiting vimperator
- IMPORTANT: removed old :buffers! buffer window, as it was ugly and slightly broken use "B" or :buffers instead
- IMPORTANT: input fields are not blured anymore by default after a page has loaded
- use :set [no]focuscontent to control the behavior (thanks Paul Sobey for the generous donation which made this behavior possible)
- IMPORTANT: ctrl-x/a never take possible negative URLs into account, it was just too unpredictable
- performance fix by using cached history, should save about 5ms on each pageload
- add :emenu for accessing the Firefox main menu items from the command line
- add shell and shellcmdflag options
- :tabprevious, :bprevious, :tabnext, :bnext and friends now accept a prefix count
- add :comclear and :delcommand
- add a special version to :hardcopy to skip the Print dialog
- add :bl[ast], :bf[irst], :br[ewind] to go to first/last tab
- add :bn[ext], :bp[revious], :bN[ext] to switch to next/previous tab
- add :pagestyle command to allow for switching between alternate style sheets
- add :b# to select the alternate buffer
- add :tabduplicate command
- new urlseparator option for specifying the regexp used to split the arg to :open, :tabopen and :winopen :set editor now accepts quoting/escaping to use an editor with spaces in the path
- support for :%foo as a count for commands (not yet widely used)
- show informative message when a background tab was loaded, especially useful with a hidden tab bar.
- new "l" flag for complete to reuse the Firefox awesome bar for getting better completions for :open. Works only when wildoptions contains "auto" and can be a little buggy if you are typing too fast.
- new wildoptions=auto option (default off for now), to automatically list
- completions without the need to press the tab key
- new argument parser for ex commands, should tell better error messages when you do things like :bmark -tag=a,b instead of :bmark -tags=a,b
- some option values can be tab-completed now; e.g., :set wim=
- :bdelete accepts an optional argument now
- renamed some :autocmd, mainly BrowserStartup -> Startup and BrowserExit -> Quit
- dont pass certain keys like ctrl-o or ctrl-n to firefox in insert mode
- keywords in :open have higher priority than local files now
- add :set online to control the "work offline" menu item
- add :jumps command to list current tabs history
- add :setlocal & :setglobal commands, so options can be local (per tab) & global
- many small bug fixes
