In one of my projects (IUST University Network Library Program), I needed a customizable tooltip that supports Right To Left (RTL), Unicode Strings and custom fonts. Building a real working tooltip seems to be very easy, but I tell you that its not such an easy thing that it seems to be. There are lots of details and exceptions that you must handle them. I tried to make a stuff that I can use it in my other project simply. I didnt like it to be an ActiveX so the final result is a single form that you can add it simply to your Visual Basic projects. You can assign tooltips by adding at least a single line of code to MouseMove event handler of desired control. The source code includes a test form that will guide you to use this tool.
