I wrote RGBHSV some years ago to explain to my students how color models work. Recently I modified it so it now has the ability to create a textual description for the current color (very useful to copy & paste in several computer languages (HTML, Java, Delphi, Visual Basic, etc.) It also computes the nearest web-safe color.
The latest version, can pick a color from anywhere on the screen. It can take the color from a single pixel or average the color of 3x3 or 5x5 pixels.

This program started with itch of mine. I often have need to take notes while talking on telephone, surfing or doing almost anything. That notes are usually just temporary since I want to do something with it - like adding telephone number to my phonebook. What I needed was scrap paper. It is similar to notepad which can be brought from tray when needed but has also auto-save thing going on. Just ideal for taking notes.
Enhancements: Added Find option. Fix: Window restoring via shortcut. Fix: Clipboard bug (Requested Clipboard operation did not succeed).

Ive added serifs to my approximation of the handwritten-style classic, which was originally designed by Peter Dombrezian for American Type Founders in 1952. Somewhat more formal than the original, but with the same lively quality. The "formal" would be then be a straight serif font, I suppose.

This application will convert any image into text.
You simply select a Windows Bitmap or JPEG image. Set the font and size of the resulting text image.
Then click the convert button. Textize will produce text that approximates the original image.
Of course the smaller the font, the better the image looks.
Just a word of caution, this application did not live up to my expectations, but here it is anyway.
