Webmasters Tools is a set of free open-source tools to do the work of the webmaster,
under the OSS licence.

Programs included:

metagen Program to generate meta-tags for your web pages.
metarep Report meta-tags and links in web pages.
updater Copy a part of a web page to all others.
outline Build a tutorial from simple unformatted text files.
makelist Build a page made of the list of links from a directory.

Web tools are free software; you can redistribute the archive and/or modify the programs under the terms of the OSS licence.

cdp-tools is a software that provides tools to work with the Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP).

They were written because of a particular hosting center that insisted on learning routes using CDP, and thusly required Cisco Switches for doing their dirty work.

cdp-listen/cdp-routemgr are proof-of-concepts that may be useful if you want to implement a similarly brain-damaged proposal.

cdp-send is a must-have tool if you are in that situation. It can pretend to be just about any kind of Cisco hardware you can imagine.

The source is a bit difficult to follow as a requirement was that it build under both the ancient libnet and the new libnet code. hence, much nasty macro-ing.

Slax Tools project are graphical applications that simplify process of generating custom version of live distribution Slax.

Slax Konfigurator is QT application that guides user through downloading Slax ISO image, management of modules, management of custom documents and bootloader configuration. Modified ISO can be installed on USB pen drive or recorded on CD. Slax Konfigurator requires QT, kdesu, sudo, cdrecord or wodim

Slax Module Kreator converts RPM (Red Hat, Fedora, Mandriva), DEB (Debian, Ubuntu), TAR.GZ (Arch Linux) and TGZ (Slackware, KateOS) binary packages into Slax modules. Slax Module Kreator depends on KDE 3.5, mksquashfs and rpm2cpio (RPM only), dpkg (DEB only) and tar (TAR.GZ and TGZ only).

Webmaster Tools description
This software is a compilation of wizards that will help you create CSS, JavaScript and HTML effects for your web pages. Webmaster Tools is an easy-to-use software designed to be a compilation of wizards that will help you create CSS, JavaScript and HTML effects for your web pages.

Newbies will love the easy question and answer format and the simple copy and paste features. Experienced users will benefit from the creation speed while the copy and paste format eliminates typing and syntax errors.

If you have Webmaster Tools running at the same time as your favourite editor you will be able to quickly transfer your information from one program to the other.

The wizards have been designed in a question and answer format. You enter the variables and the wizard will write the script for you. You do not need any CSS or JavaScript knowledge.

You do however need rudimentary HTML skills. Most users should have little problem following the format. Some of the wizard pages have examples of what the script will look like on your page. The Script Tester is also a great way to check your code before you paste it into your document.

Each piece of generated code has instructions of where it should be pasted in your document. Some scripts have more than one part and you are given instructions on where to paste each part in your document.

When the code has been generated it is important that you use the "Copy Script" button rather than highlighting the code and right clicking to copy. Using the "Copy Script" button will ensure that long lines of code are wrapped correctly. Incorrectly wrapped lines will cause errors in the code. Most of the wizards have examples of how the script works or will appear on your page.

The XML Tools AppleScript Scripting Addition allows AppleScript to parse and generate XML data.

DNSSEC-Tools is a project that provides tools for DNS administrators.

The DNSSEC-Tools package is a collection of tools, scripts, Perl modules, C libraries, and application patches that are useful for DNS zone administrators and end users to deploy DNS Security (DNSSEC).

The various pieces of the DNSSEC-Tools project are spread across several directories. These pieces are briefly described here.

Most of the tools take a --version flag to let you know their individual version number. The numbers reported will be < 0.9 if theyre to be considered "alpha" quality. If >= 0.9 and < 1.0 then they should be considered "beta". Version numbers of 1.0 and above should be considered more well-tested, robust and less likely to change.

· Runs donuts on zone files on a regular bases (eg, daily) and emails the results.Useful for knowing when zone data breaks due to DNSSEC signatures expiring or other data consistency issues).

· Patches to logwatch configuration files and scripts to manage log files for BIND security function.These patches are now included in the recent releases of logwatch and may not be needed if you have a recent release.

· A tool which can produce visual diagrams of DNS traffic flows which have been captured using tcpdump.

· tools/mapper
· A tool that can generate graphical maps of DNS zones, including color coding of DNSSEC related data.

· tools/modules
· DNSSEC-Tools Perl modules.These modules provide interfaces for such things as reading configuration files and manipulating DNSSEC-Tools-specific data.

· tools/modules/Net-DNS-SEC-Validator
· A perl module wrapper around the libval library.

· tools/drawvalmap
· A variation of dnspktflow which can produce visual diagrams of DNS queries sent by the validator while performing DNSSEC validation.The input for this command can come from the validate tool described above.

· tools/linux/ifup-dyn-dns
· This is a script which can be used to securely auto-update a DNS entry when an IP address is assigned to an interface.
