tracert
WinTraceRoute 1.1
This is a Windows based tracert/traceroute software to display path that network packets take when travelling across the network more>>
Excellent tool for network troubleshooting, this utility incorporates the functionality of well known tracert and traceroute command line utilities and presents the trace information with a Windows based interface.
You may print the results of the trace or save them for later research.
Various network trace parameters such as number of pings, hops, host timeout value and DNS address resolution are configurable in this software.
Ftrace 1.4
A command line same as the traceroute application for Windows. more>> A command line same as the traceroute application for Windows.
The Ftrace application was designed to be a command line same as the traceroute application for Windows. It is faster than standard tracert.exe whilst preserving the same command line interface and also provides new options such as UDP support. A GUI version is also available which eases in copying the results to other applications.
Main features:
- UDP support for getting past stupid routers/firewalls that block ICMP (requires raw sockets; thus needs Administrator privileges and Win2k/XP).
- Optional DNS cache file to speed up commonly traced routes.
- Configurable buffer size, pings per hop, ttl and tos settings.
- Faster than Windows standard tracert.exe due to no delay between hops.
- (GUI version only) Easy copy to clipboard as plain text or vB code for posting to forums.
SI Trace 1.0 Beta 1
Determinate the route packets travel across an IP network with SI Trace tool. more>>
Or your Internet provider could be having a temporarily problem that theyll eventually solve. Or maybe its the fault of one of the routers, switches, access points, servers, or other network hosts that are in between you and the remote computer. How would you know for sure?
In the beginning of the Internet, a tool called traceroute was introduced in Unix. Traceroute does exactly what its name suggests: it traces the route of IP packets while they travel from your PC to the remote destination.
SI Trace will allow you to see exactly where the connectivity problem is, no matter how far it is from your computer. The last host to respond to traceroute is the last host that is working properly. The first one that fails to respond is the faulty one.
Usually you would get a response right in the console window in a matter of seconds. You get the response in a Spartan-looking black console window.
While theres nothing particularly wrong in using the supplied tracert.exe, we at Soft Institute wrapped the same thing into a much more convenient package.
SI Trace provides clearly legible, well-formatted output by providing easy to understand numbers and well-explained results. It displays all the vital information from classic Unix traceroute and Windows tracert commands, and allows you to check more than one computer by simply selecting the address from a combo box. Thanks to its user-friendly interface, it is much more convenient to use than Windows tracert.
There is a free tool called tracert.exe that comes with most versions of Windows. You can use this tool to traceroute the remote PC. To use tracert.exe, you would typically invoke a command lineLicense:Freeware

Network Commander 2.1
GUI interface for command prompt network functins,TCP/UDP/ICMP/IP statistics, network calculators, base converter. managing remote client computer without the need of installing additional software on more>>
This application was written due to a lot of frustration from my side, I have been working a lot with network configurations, routers setup (networking maintenance, in general). I didn?t have any good tool that will help me with the little things. I hate going to command prompt and run programs like, ping, tracert, net stat, etc.
While administrating couple of small networks, I found out that it will be much more easier to keep all of the clients well updated by enabling the option of controlling them remotely. Of course there are a lot of software out there that can remotely control a client but I wanted the process to be transparent to the client side. I wanted something that will give me the ability of installing software on the remote side without kicking the user out from its own machine (for example, installing an update of virus definitions). Installing client side software was out of the question, I dont like to walk to each and every computer on the network and installing a "listening" software manually.
The Network Commander is able to connect to any client on the network, executing processes, ending processes, running DOS commands and more just at a click of a button from the server side.
Couple of more convenient features where implemented to make your life much more easier: port scanner, that can scan a range of IP address for open/closed ports, network utilization that can enumerate the current network usage, TCP/UDP/ICMP/IP statistics for the current machine and more..

Remote Control Manager is a complete solution for storing all IT devices in one centrally managed database that is accessible by anyone in your technical support help desk. more>>
The program was originally written for use with third party remote control software such as RDP and VNC however it soon became clear that just remote controlling servers or workstations was not enough and the utility needed to be improved to provide access to command prompt and web based toolsl. With this in mind the program was expanded to include the use of a Tools and Dashboards sections where favorites like nslookup, tracert, ping and Web based monitoring, dns lookups and RSS supports feeds are readily available to the engineer.
XMLRoute
PLEASE REVIEW AND EDIT CAREFULLY Traceroute with XML output more>> XMLRoute is a powerful program which makes it easy to traceroute with XML output. It was designed to be a console utility that performs the same function as tracert.exe. The key difference being that it formats its output in XML. This is probably not particularly useful unless you require traceroute data as input to another program: nice, orderly XML is superior to the normal traceroute output in that case.
In the interest of orderly output, this program ceases all tracerouting activities at the first sign of a timeout. The idea is to get known good or known bad data rather than the iffy results that can be gotten from a few dropped packets somewhere in the middle.
