Four captains, who came from different directions, met on the sea. All came here for the sole purpose of discovering and conquering gold from long sunken ships. They are mighty seadogs, who dont fear dangers and traps of Neptuns empire. They are ready to either rip the sea or the competitors of its treasure.
Who will gather the most of the treasure and return from the journey as a winner, is entirely up to you!
Game is fully playable, however Ill add new features, like network play etc. soon.

Treasure Hunt is a free and simple desktop game I used to learn a bit about Widgets and JavaScript.
Click start, and then click as many of the chests that you can. (My best is about 21.) The more you click, the longer the cleanup takes at the end. The game ends when there are 10 on the screen at once. Make it floating in the preferences for best results (and close anything important).
Please give comments and code reviews/corrections.
Designed at 1280x1024 resolution.

Treasure Tower is a fast-paced platform game that features over 200 rooms in 26 courses. The objective of each course is to climb a tower built from random rooms and collect the treasure at the top. more>>
Treasure Tower is a fast-paced platform game that features over 200 rooms in 26 courses. The objective of each course is to climb a tower built from random rooms and collect the treasure at the top.
The main enemy of the game is time. While in the tower, the clock is constantly running - it starts at just over 30 seconds, and running into obstacles such as spikes or the ghosts that inhabit the towers will temporarily speed it up, making progress more difficult. Time can be restored by finding food, which appears every few rooms, getting rarer in the later towers. Treasure can also be collected for points - there are fifteen pickups in every room, though there are also nine special "treasure rooms" with more.
Once you reach a certain point in the game, a Time Attack mode will be unlocked. This section of the game features the opportunity to submit your times to the online high score board on the games minisite: http://wired.st-and.ac.uk/~wong/treasuretower/
The controls are the standard Click-game setup: Left and Right move, Up and Down toggle switches, Shift jumps. Game controllers are also supported if you select them from the title screen.
More details of the game are explained in the tutorial that youll get when you start the first tower, and a PDF manual is also provided.
Most of the soundtrack is composed of ragtimes by Scott Joplin, and they were sequenced by Warren Trachtman. The rest of the music, the graphics and the program are by me.

The game has two main elements, a quiz game and a 3D adventure game module.
- Quiz game: This part of the game is based on a 3D quiz cube overlay on a world map. Random subjects are placed on the faces of 9 quiz cubes and players are asked to identify photographs or answer questions by finding the location on the world map. When the question is answered correctly, a brief description of the item is shown with a link to wikipedia for more info. When all 9 quiz cubes are answered, the player moves onto the next level.
- 3D adventure game:In this part of the game, players travel to different places and periods in history and play adventure quests. The first adventure game module is based on ancient Rome; players take part in a chariot race to answer math questions or fight a gladiator to win treasure. Future treasure quests include exploring the pyramids in ancient Egypt, rafting the Grand Canyon, climbing mount Everest, taking part in the first Olympic games, exploring the Louvre, going on safari in Africa, racing in the Monaco Grand Prix, and escaping from been trapped in Ice with the Shackleton expedition. Educating the world: The goal of the game is to education children and adults in a fun and exciting way.
The developers would like this game to be of benefit to people all around the world, especially in places where knowledge of the outside world is often quite limited. The game is available in 27 languages and is based on wikipedia and independently researched content. The game attempts to present an interesting, factual and unbias.
