Bass Tuner was developed to be an easy-to-use, simple and compact bass guitar tuner app written using the Windows MIDI system. It supports six-string basses, but it only supports BEADGC tuning.
This application uses the Windows MIDI mapper and the general IDI fingered electric bass patch to sound notes. If you dont hear any sound, check the MIDI settings on your system.

The Renegade Guitar Tuner was going to be a new feature in Guitar and Drum Trainer 2, but since its only in beta, Ive decided to release it on its own. The Renegade Guitar Tuner is free. Enjoy!
This program is to help you tune your guitar. Just plug-in your guitar to your mic jack and turn up your guitars volume. Helpful instructions can be found inside the software.
Click the "Tune me baby~!" button to start it, and then start plucking strings. Youll have to tune to numbers (e.g. Low E is 82.41 Hz) for the time being (I said it was beta...). All the notes and their values are readily available in the program. Just scroll down in the text box in the program to see them.
The accuracy is good enough, but not perfect. (Hey... Im honest! Try and find another software developer thats half as open as that!) So youll have to tune to the closest value, e.g. tune to 82.10 Hz for low E instead of 82.41 Hz, 196.51 Hz for the G string (my favorite) instead of 196.00 Hz. If youve got perfect pitch, this may be a bit annoying, but then again, if youve got perfect pitch, you dont need a guitar tuner!
Youll need to plug in a mic or directly plugin your guitar to your computers mic jack. You will probably need a connector to help you out with this. Theres some convenient picture help to show you the kid of connector that youll need. (1/4" audio jack to 1/8" audio jack)
