akIDE is an Integrated Development Environment. It targets primary Digital Mars D language, but is designed to be used with virtually any language or compiler.
D because it is just a bit higher level than C++ and still very fast (some people shows benchmarks according to which D is THE fastest language). Also I believe this will be the biggest D project (which is not abandoned) at the moment I started and it will prove D to be usable for large/commercial applications. Win32 because it is fast and looks nice. Im trying to make it usable for projects consisting of single file, as well as large projects involving even few languages and many files.

- Workspace management - multiple projects, multiple configurations, dependencies, import existing projects.
- Compiler templates - real build system; supports virtually any compiler; customizable compiler output and error pattern; customizable parameters; scripting support.
- Project templates - extetend program functionality with ECMA scripts (JavaScript). Included SDK for creating new project wizards and custom UIs.
- HTML accelerators - easily insert HTML (or any other) tags via keyboard accelerators or the toolbar
- HTML features - quick HTML colours, quick HTML tables

Enhancements:
- matrix.dll is now loaded when about dialog is open instead of start up. This should make akIDE load faster (do not expect to be noticeable).
- akIDE/akie is now compiled for Windows 4.0 (98, 95 not tested) instead of 5.0 (XP).
- All program parameter are now rendered before any execution.
- Pre/Post build steps are no more executed for unmodified files (when this check is enabled).
- Run once program now have better access to files through the new user variables. It is now possible to pass all the files to compiler at once and still count the modified files.
- Browse for working directory in the project properties was saying "browse for base directory" and was not marking the configuration as modified. Fixed now.
- Updated `cpp` verbatim style (this is for all C-like languages).
- repeat is now setting one more variable - repeat.counteras (same as repeat.counter but ascending)
- program.output renamed to program.output.last. program.output is still available but with different output.
- Added (existing are updated) comment, program.output, program.output.length, program.last.output, program.output.last.length, program.intermediate.all, program.intermediate.modified, program.intermediate.uptodate, program.intermediate.length, file.all, file.all.length, file.all.output, file.modified, file.modified.length, file.output, file.uptodate, file.uptodate.length, file.uptodate.output .
- Added browse buttons in the New project dialog.
- Added warning patterns support to program templates.
- Added column support for errors and warnings.
- Fixed file modification detection bug.
- Fixed selection length info on the task bar was displayed wrong after selection->deactivate app->activate app.

Komadu is a freeware tool that is developed to easily create UIs and scripts for Maya, using the Maya embedded language (MEL). Creating UIs can be a time consuming task using just the script editor in Maya. But with Komadu you can create UIs add behaviors and deploy that in to Maya and execute from there.
How does it work ?
Komadu woks with some scripts that work along with Maya and the main program. In the main program the user creates a project and creates procedures. Unlike other MEL scripting software, Komadu treat each script as a procedure that way the user wont confuse with duplicated names.
When generating UIs the user can use the main toolbar to create controls. After the designing and programming is complete Komadu deploys all the files required to run the project in to Maya. After that running Maya and using the Komadu shelf tab the user can test the software.
For whom ?
Komadu can be used by anyone from beginners to experts with Maya and even existing users of Maya who are new to MEL.

Me, my name is Anuradha Jayathilaka and Im living in Sri Lanka. Im using Maya for about five years. and been using MEL for several years. The reason I did this program is because even I was having problems with memorizing commands and arguments when creating UIs. So this is it enjoy!
Why the name Komadu ?
Why have I named this software Komadu? well at first i though of naming it Melon. Actually Komadu is the Sinhalese work for melon.

EarCandy is a music juke-box that will present music collections in the somewhat novel way of artist, album, title EarCandy is a music juke-box that will present music collections in the somewhat novel way of artist, album, title, regardless of the underlying directory structure.
This is the way that iNoize, a p2p music sharing company, presented music. I worked at iNoize for 18 months and really liked the approach, unfortunately, I do not like web based juke boxes ;-) (I think web uis are too limiting for the user and the developer).
EarCandy is written in Python using (currently) the Gtk toolkit for the user interface. I will eventually switch to AnyGui for the ui once they release a stable version.
EarCandy uses an external player to play tracks. Under Unix/Linux the only player currently supported is xmms. It needs to be running in order to play music, ie EarCandy will no start it for you. And under Windows, winamp is supported.
The main script to run is earcandy.py, cd into the directory and ./earcandy.py to run the application. Windows users, just run earcandy.exe.
The first time it runs, it will ask for the path to youre music files. Enter the path and click on OK. It will then scan that path for mp3 files and add them to an index. It saves the index file, so it only has to this once. You will be able to rescan the directory if you add new tracks to rebuild the index.
The main window consists of 4 list boxes. In order:
- Collections Eventually you will be able to add external collections and reference the music within. They are listed here.
- Artists is the list of all artists in the collection.
- Albums is the list of albums for the selected artist.
- Tracks is the list of tracks for the selected album.
To play an album or track, simple double click on it. There is also a context menu when the right mouse button is pressed on a album or track. For albums, this menu contains items to play the album and enqueue the album. It is similar for tracks.
Enqueing allows a album or track to be added to the list of songs being played in the music player without disturbing what is being played.
