Many internet users know the problem. Everytime they connect to the internet they get a new dynamic IP number. How can I tell someone which IP I currently have?
The idea behind it is really simple: A script on the server detects your IP if you call this script and generates a website with the information about the IP. Visitors can then visit this HTML site and are informed where to reach your PC.

Updater-G 0.6.1 is a useful tool which is designed to help you to update your application(s)/media/other content via the web. You initially modify two text files, upload one of the text files to your updates server and you are all set!
Here you have a tool that takes all the difficulty out of distributing the update to your application/media files/office documents/other file, all the work you have left to do is set up a web hosting account/server for the intVer.txt file and your latest content file.
How to use Updater G?
- You can use the G-Force to set up easy and fast all features of Updater G
- Updater G currently consists of a text file, intVer.txt, specifying the most recent version of your application, the location updates are located at on the web (your updates server) and the name of your latest update file. Upload the intVer.txt file to a web host of your choice, it can be different to the place where the update files exist as long as the details inside intVer.txt contain the correct location of the update(s).
- Once you have specified these three simple criteria, you then modify set.txt to include the location of your intVer.txt file (on your updates server for example), the current version of your application that Updater G will be shipped with and the location for the file to be downloaded to on the local system where your application will be deployed.
- Once set, all the user has to do is run Updater G and click Update. Updater G will take all the parameters from set.txt and compare the version found with the version number in the intVer.txt on the updates server. If there is a newer version of the content, then Updater G will download the latest update and set the current version held in set.txt to the version of the update it downloaded. If the version is the same, then the user will be notified that they already have the latest version of your content.
