Russian Virtual Keyboard is for a person away from her/his own computer (vacation, business trip, university, work computer with no Admin Rights) who still wants to type in Russian (e-mail, notes, a forums discussions).

This Virtual Russian Keyboard is a Web page (HTML+JavaScript) that works the best in Internet Explorer, Mozilla/Firefox, and Opera so it could be used on ANY platform -
Windows, Linux, Solaris, Mac, etc.
It also could be used off-line under Windows - just download VirtKbd.exe which is a self -extractive archive, extract files from the archive and read Readme file...
This Cyrillic Keyboard has many handy features, for example, it works (and offers both Standard and Ohonetic layouts) even when a physical keyboard of a computer (say, Internet-cafe in Germany) is not in US English input mode ("EN") but rather in say German mode ("DE").
Supported modes are: German, French, Hebrew, Spanish, Swedish, Italian, British.
