Experiencing a progressive loss of audio sync in a video? Already tried changing framerate and stretching the audio track but it did not fix the problem? Variable framerates within the video may be the cause.
Variable Framerate Rx was designed to be a simple tool that automates the process of batch converting variable framerate video to constant framerate video. Specify a target framerate and any non-conforming scenes are converted to the target framerate. Afterwords, mux the audio track with the converted video.

System requirements:
- AviSynth, Avidemux, .Net 3.5 SP1, and any necessary video codecs to be installed
Version restrictions:
- Audio tracks are not processed and must be muxed after conversion.
- Converted scenes may experience jitter.
- Preview of video is not possible. Any previewing while using the frameserver inserts random frames into the video.

Enhancements:
- Updated OpenDialog file filters so that only AVI and MPEG files ("*.m*", "*.vob") appear.
- Added menu shortcuts.
- Added wait until script files exist before proceeding to next processing step.
- Added Failed to job status enums.
- When a job run has output file size less than 512 bytes per frame, its status will be Failed.
- Added SD and HD presets for X.264 Ratefactor.
- Added Blend option to basic filters > deinterlace. Updated config serialization to support the change.
- Updated FormatVideoFilters method to support Deinterlace Blend option.
- Changed text for basic filters > deinterlace > Source is from NTSC DVD option to NTSC DVD Source.
