Bible Verses Screensaver 1 is a wonderful sreen-saver which concludes high quality images combined with power verses from the Bible. There are no pop up ads, or annoying reminders or advertisements, just a free , high quality screen-saver. All verses are taken from the Kings James Version translation.

A Christian software program designed to help you learn and memorize the Word of God. It comes with verses from the NIV Bible, and they are grouped by Topic. A note is provided with each verse to enhance your understanding. There are 3 basic modes available in this program: Learn a verse and itsreference, Review the verse text if given its reference, and finally Review the reference if given its verse text. The FREEWARE Edition contains more than 75 pre-loaded verses. The registered Deluxe Edition contains 450 verses on more than 100 topics.You can also Add or Edit your own topics and verses in the Deluxe Edition. In addition, theDatabase Conversion Tool is included.

Basically the "Verse Popper" displays (pops up) bible verses in the lower right hand corner of your PC screen at configurable intervals. Currently the verse selection is random but I plan on adding many different options.
Verse Popper History
I wrote the Verse Popper a while ago because after reading the bible in the morning I found myself being bombarded by everything but God for the rest of the day! With bible verses popping up on my workstation every half hour or so it reminds me of God and what really matters.
Installation and Download
For this "beta 1" version of the Verse Popper, I am mainly looking for feedback, so please register so I can make improvements. With the release of beta 2 there will be more configuration options and hopefully a few more bibles to chose from. I will also publish the extensibility model for any fellow geeks out there that may want to code up some plugins ;^)

Tra-Verse 1 (1.x) is a useful and convenient-to-use program which is designed to help busy people to inject a little bit of the Bible into their day, via Windows system tray pop-up bubbles. Clicking the tray icon will bring up the main window and minimize back to the tray.

The 'x' button also minimizes to the tray. Selecting any text in the window automatically copies it to the clipboard. Set the timer to whatever interval you prefer; it starts with a bubble every 30 seconds. Clicking the bubble will open the browser window to the verse displayed. The link in the bottom right corner will also navigate to the last displayed verse. Use the drop menu to select your own verse at any time.

Stay Tuned: Future version will incorporate a bookmark mode, which will display only a certain set of verses for memory purposes.

Quran uses Allah to refer to God and throught out this program also God is refered to as Allah.
