• It doesnt install Apache and MySQL as services, we use it for development process so we prefer to have our servers running as normal programs, even because we use Linux as production OS for PHP/MySQL solutions.
• It uses my.ini and php.ini from server directory, with latest release of PHP and MySQL it is easy to do, but not to take for granted with other WAMP tool.
• It includes our preferred MySQL database tools, HeidiSQL (derived from mysql-front 2 and became GPL), a wonderful tool with everything in the right place.
• It includes recent releases of applications PHP 5.2, Apache 2, MySQL 5.0
