The program is very easy to use. Just click on the preferred selections, and type how long your wav is, in either minutes or seconds. Only integers are supported, so if your wav is one and a half minute long, you must type 1 in the minutes field, and 30 in the seconds field.

This freeware device driver replaces the Microsoft CDFS.VXD (Compact Disc File System) in the subdirectory c:windowssystemiosubsys. Go to this directory and rename CDFS.VXD to something else. Then download and unzip the files. The cda files, appearing as WAVs, can be opened from CD in a wave editor and otherwise treated as WAV files. The best part, of course, is that you can use any WAV to mp3 converter to convert the cda file directly from the audio CD to mp3 (or other compressed format) without having first to extract it to hard disk. Saves a lot of space on hard disk and makes the conversion quicker. This driver will work with some drives, but not others.
When you open a CD after this replacement driver is installed, you will see two subdirectories on the disc in addition to the audio tracks. These directories are Mono and Stereo. Under each directory, you will see three additional directories, 11025HZ, 22050HK and 44100HZ. Opening these directories reveals the WAV files with the usual Windows WAV icons. Right click on one of the WAVs and choose Properties. If the file properties box shows the preview tab, then the drive is supported by this driver. If only the general tab is showing, the the drive is not capable of working with the new driver.

It will also let you do a test to see that the copies really are perfect. Audiograbber can also automatically normalize the music, delete silence from the start and/or end of tracks, and send them to a variety or external MP3 encoders, such as Fraunhofers L3enc, or even use some MP3/WMA encoders internally for automatic creation of MP3s.
Audiograbber can download and upload disc info from freedb, an Internet compact disc database. You can even record your vinyl LPs or cassette tapes with Audiograbber and make wavs or MP3s of them. There are a lot more functions in Audiograbber, but to put it simply: Audiograbber has the most features one can wish from such a program!
